I usually don't like responding to Clout chasing / chasers. I don't know what your aim and intentions are but you are being very rude about whatever point you're trying to make.

I personally studied and lived in the UK for years, I can't say UK is the best alternative for everyone. If you took time to go through the thread you will see that I've personally advised the UK for those seeking easier visa applications or flexible tuition payment.

No country is 100% perfect, kindly let people made their decisions through their own research please. And as it seems you're trying your hands at recruiting people from here , stop being dramatic. People interested in the UK definitely know which thread to seek the right info from .

Lmao check my posts, do I look like a recruiter? Not everyone is like you.

I gave my 2 cents, if you don't like it my analysis, how does it concern me? move on then ?? Oh sorry, forgot I was "spoiling market" for you. Don't engage me again so I can exit peacefully. Capish?

You will never achieve your aim here because it appears you were sent to discourage people. Just imagine going to Dubai thread here on Nairaland to say that Ireland is better than Dubai, who that one concern. Everybody must not go to UK, everybody must not go to Ireland also. Allow people to choose for themselves.

So I could have waited for another year before doing my Masters abroad because of the recently announced 2 years post study visa by UK, it is very obvious you don't have sense.

You complained in one of your posts about someone cursing you, but here you are... hypocritically doing the same thing. I posted comparisons and didn't force anyone to choose the UK. Why are you so pained? ..and why you so vulgar and uncouth?

ICaSNg, when the thread was created, you said somewhere that the goal of this thread was to compare studying in Ireland to the UK and make the benefits of studying in Ireland known? Now, I came with verified facts and compared them, you're complaining? Simply because it's not going your way and last time I checked, we frown at agents in Travel sections, don't we?

And Justwise, this ICaSNg has his or her company's contact details as signature. Isn't that indirect advertising? I thought NL doesn't promote such acts?
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by waynee2baba: 9:39pm On Dec 03, 2019
I really don't understand why some of you are crying because of my harmless post. If you feel was I said was false, why don't you counter it? I literally backed up my claims. We're in a forum and here to learn from each other. If you feel the points I raised ain't true, why don't you engage me in a meaningful discussion rather than insulting and calling me names? That shows some of you lot cannot engage in a healthy conversion without insulting people.

I've been called names including a clout chaser simply because I compared the UK to Ireland. When you suggest options for people, don't you compare them? Did I force anyone to choose the UK? There are people here regardless of what I said that will still choose Ireland over the UK and that's totally fine. I just did a harmless breakdown and certain people attacked me for no reason. Well, most of the people that attacked me either just got an Irish visa or stand to gain something if more people use their services.

Also, I stated that I don't wana derail the thread for others that are still interested in Ireland and if you had questions, ask them in the UK thread. Yet, they still engaged and attacked me. I wonder why people got bitter and triggered. You have a long way to go if you get offended and personally triggered by other people's opinion in a public forum and can't induldge in a healthy conversation without using uncouth words. Smh

Morning All,

Its been a while. In preparations for 2020/2021 admissions, please find below entry requirements on some programs, scholarships or discounts available.:

National College Ireland: Tuition fee for Postgraduate courses @ 15,000 euros/ Undergraduate @ 10,000 euros per year/ PGD or Higher diploma programs @ 12,000 euros :

1. Future leaders @ 7,500 euros off - only available to exceptional students (limited to 4 per region i.e Africa and UAE)
2. MSc Entrepreneurship @ 7,500 euros off- deadline for Tuition fee payment is April 2020.
3. 4,000 euros off to graduates with 2:1 or 1st class
4. 2,000 euros off to graduates with 2:2
5. 4,000 to 5,000 euros off to Higher diploma students
6. 2,000 to 3,000 euros off to UG students (Please note that you pay the same tuition for the remaining years of your program. i.e if an undergraduate student gets 3000 off thier fees in the first year , their tuition balance of 7,000 euros for the first year is what they will pay until they graduate - 7,000 euros each year exceptions to them failing or repeating a course or class)

GMIT:
This school will accept students with SSCE and English test directly into 1st year of bachelors degree.
If a student scores at least 6.5 in IELTS , they pay as low as 6,900 euros per year.

PGD Accounting also available @10,000 euros for 1 year duration and 2 years work permit applies to this particular course and school only.

LIT, DKIT & IT Sligo will also accept students into their 1st year of bachelors degree

IT Tralee and DKIT - have free hostel accommodation available to undergraduate students only for the duration of their program i.e 3/4 years.

DBS has a standard 1,000 euro discount on all programs. They will also be accepting 6.0 in Academic ielts for most MSc / MBA programmes in lieu of the former 6.5.

TUDublin / DIT: 60 merit based faculty scholarships - 15 to each faculty to a tune of 4,000 euros each. Deadline for this is mostly March. This merit based .

Visa application requirements still remain the same for Jan, Feb and April 2020 start dates .

We are expecting the embassy to update us if there will be changes to applications made for September 2020.

It is however worthwhile to state that, if you will be sponsored by any friends / relatives and you don't have concrete proof of relationship to such or you or your sponsor don't have enough proof of employment or supporting documents on funds in your accounts, PLEASE desist from applying to the Republic of Ireland .

The United kingdom is a better alternative , as you are only required to present 28 days bank statements.

For those expecting their visa apps , We @ ICaSNg look forward to hearing from you soon.

Do have a blessed week ahead.

Cheers

Hello,

For a degree in Nursing in the Republic of Ireland, these are what you need to know:
1.Excellent 0-level results including Mathematics, English and Science subjects- @ As or Bs. Basically they want exceptional students for health science or medical related programs

2. Foundation studies-- which you have to pass excellently
3. Funds- for Foundation @ EUR 14,500 for 9 months and duration of BSc Nursing is 4 years @ at least EUR 17,000 per year.

Getting an offer after foundation in Ireland is not automatic, its strictly based on your performance however, you can study in cheaper European countries like Lithuania , Georgia, Czech Republic etc @ very affordable costs as low as EUR 5,000 per year .these places allow you study and practice as a Nurse in any European country or do clinical examinations in US, UK etc. If you pass the required examinations in any of these countries, you can gain sponsored work permit.

Hope this answers your question?

For further info- inbox.

Cheers

Justwise, here is ICaSNg asking people to "inbox" for further info in other to promote their organisation. ICaSNg is clearly an agent and they've been lowkey indirectly advertising for free here. I suggest they should be made to change their name to something else that isn't their organisation. We frown at agents on this forum.

I deliberately decided not to quote you because I know what you are looking for but since you have decided to quote, I am here for you. I don't think you know the meaning of vulgar because I am yet to even start. What are you trying to achieve with this useless comparison between UK and Ireland,so people in Ireland should die or what?

You really had to go through my posts to know who I am but I dont have to go through yours because from your few comments here, it can be deduced that you lack acute reasoning. Who sent you to post comparisons here. You should be comparing your life with those in Ireland not comparing both countries.

BTW, you can't even force anyone to choose when it's not your money. Grow up and stop displaying your foolishness here

I'm a fan of what ICaSNg is doing no doubt. ICaSNg is obviously an agent with other motives. If he or she can stop telling people to "inbox for more info", remove their organisation contact details from their signature/bio and contribue with a non-organisational name, we can genuinely stan ICaSNg and appreciate their efforts smiley.

Typing from one corner with his tecno phone and 1K subscription under Nigeria hot weather is not worthy of anyone's time. Someone that don't even understand the difference between research and due diligence wants to form intelligent. Its people like him that has created this imaginary picture of a perfect heavenly country in his head that come back after a while to whine and cry about how abroad is so bad when he later figure out for himself that his heavenly escape is no where near paradise.
