When they are through with your application u will know, is there any particular reason why you are bothered about how long it will take to get to them? Well if this question is because u keep tracking your application online, I’ll suggest you leave it as the status might not change until ur passport comes back to TLS.
johnnypaul927:
Please house, how long does it take for an application to be received by the VAC after being transferred to them from the embassy. Thanks.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 1:40pm On Dec 06, 2019
If it will be UP TO DATE at the time of ur biometrics go ahead.... if not you are on your own.. don’t come and say Nairaland told u this.
Africankel:
Dear friends, kindly confirm if it is or not a problem to use Zenith e-statement (Not signed or stamped) for my application.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by ozymes: 1:41pm On Dec 06, 2019
Applications are deemed inconclusive until biometrics are done, I believe?
giselle237:
U can’t add it. Documentation sent to them now is only through online upload. I don’t think TLS has access to upload any other documents as long as u have clicked submit. U have submitted online already. How will they upload it to ur profile? Remember the message they wrote that never click submit if you haven’t finished uploading as u cant go back something something.... The documents are now transferred to the ECO via electronic transfer ...

Sorry. I remember you and everything. So sorry sister.

Unfortunately I was refused.

1. Dont cancel any hotel booking until u get your passport back from the Embassy.
2. Never travel to the United Kingdom without paying for an accommodation OR having a confirmed stay at a friend’s place.
This must be for the whole trip and must tally with your return ticket or you find yourself back on the next flight to Nigeria. Borderforce will see to this. It is not a joke these days. U cant be cancelling booking up and down. U must have a confirmed accommodation oga
As for any bookings that are cancelled after the free cancellation period has elapsed on booking sites, I believe they are subject to charges.
alutachuks:
Good morning gurus in the house.....I have submitted all the documents yesterday including a hotel booking confirmation from booking.com..The booking was done without credit card and with no Prepayment and Free cancellation... I planned traveling on Feb 29th and my intention is to cancel the hotel after arriving the city of London but I saw on the booking confirmation where they said..cancel on or before Feb 15th.what would be the implications if I didn't cancel on Feb 15th as they said ..Also would cancelling before Feb 15th and getting another hotel booking result to an issue at POE.

My chest is not at rest.....lol I wish to know the status...you know that moment when you are expecting something so badly...so it doesn't take any particular time. It was transferred today but I haven't seen received by TLS

She has a pension. She has account. U can do all u have stated but remember that her financial representation will still be assessed irrespective of what she gets from u.. so try and make a good case for her and explain all her incomes with accompanying evidence.

Thanks for replying.

I only need to explain her income NOT mine(sponsor), right?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by johnnypaul927: 1:52pm On Dec 06, 2019
Surprisingly, today is the 15th working day. What do you think? Are you thinking what I am thinking?

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 1:53pm On Dec 06, 2019
Yes he/she can only cancel that application before biometrics to make it null and void. He/She can’t upload anything again to that profile AFTER CLICKING SUBMIT ON THE DOCUMENT UPLOAD PAGE except the ECO requests for it. Go and re read this information.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by johnnypaul927: 1:55pm On Dec 06, 2019
The journey is just one step. For VAC to receive my application. Then of course, for me to collect my passport from them.

If all is straight in your income, this would not be needed.. only evidence to back up origin of the funds will be needed. However if there are any tweaks along the line of your income, kindly provide evidence + explanation

I had my biometrics today, no problem whatsoever. I also get a notification that my application has been transferred.

Ashirioluwa:

You should be fine. Let us know how it goes when you get back
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Ontripp: 2:10pm On Dec 06, 2019
There is going back. Just cancel the appointment and book a new one. Infact, you can pay for these services there without including in the application.

tasho105:
There's no going back.Try get the cash...you
must pay for it.
I've experienced this before.

I send emails every other day, they recently replied that they have transferred it to accounts where they are verifying the transaction but I will keep sending emails.

When banks refuse to refund Atm false debits, do you know that phone number or email that was publicized for people to make complaints?

If we can get it, we can send our complaints to them.

Can anyone in the house help with it?

I have escalated this issue to their global senior exec. I will give further updates as I get them
