By miracle? I can get any documents necessary!! And surviving over there for more than a month won’t be any problem since I’m saving up for it, I’ve already save $5k for it.

Lol..have you visited the UK before? What will you do when that $5K which is about £3,800 runs out?

If I’m at the right hand I can pickup any job that comes my way and flow along, or did you know of any country I can take just for the sake of greener pasture, I just don’t want to try any business again in this country

Calm down bro else you will get scammed by a lot of fraudulent agents reading your desperation.

The UK is the last place for anybody to come with visiting visa and hoping to live and work.

If you can raise $5k in Nigeria just like that then you are rich, don't waste it and your time chasing shadow.

You will not understand this until you make the mistake.

Don’t be scared if you’ve not done anything bad.

You must be able to be defend yourself.

£100 - £200 is too small despite you holding your cards. It’s an international trip not local please.

Your contact details saved with funny names means nothing because they can’t tell you what to save contacts with. It’s your personal item but they can check your phones if they want to. If I save a friends name with funny words, border control will tell me to change the name. Lol funny you.

As said, hold enough cash with you cos buying tickets at heathrow is very expensive... I mean coaches ( National Express and MegaBus) £500 is OK

Have your prove of accommodation intact. No stories. Your return ticket too is important as well.

You will be questioned but be truthful. Have a valid reason when answering questions and don’t panic.

Be a good citizen of Nigeria.
All the best.

Please I have a question...
Between Heathrow and Gatwick airport..which is better to arrive at?
Because Heathrow now have a strict immigration rule with the IO and one may get deported by any simple mistake.
Does this apply to Gatwick airport too?
Thank you.

I can never suggest traveling with tourist visa to any western world with the hope of living and working there,

If you must travel go through education as that allows you to live and work at the end legally.

If you don't have money for foreign education then work long and hard for scholarship

I'm afraid no i will not.

You are probably going to be contacted by dubious agents pretty soon who will tell you what you want to hear and take your money.

Like i said to you before..calm down else you will be taken advantage of and you will remember this post.

If you invest your money into that business you are managing now in few years time you will thank God for making the right decision.

Okay, did you know anything about the vocational training schools? Perhaps if that can be a better option!

I understand you Sir, and if I'm desperate, I won't be here asking questions, and I won't like to invest more in my business though because is already eating up my early savings, so the best option is to work away

Yes all airports. Dont be scared. You will only have issues if you do any of the things people have been listing. Honesty pays. No fear.

Good morning everyone.
I have a little concern and Ild appreciate a response from those who are more experienced

I am applying for a tier2 work visa and taking my husband and kids as dependants. My husband will travel with us and stay just 3days in the UK with us because he is still working (good job) in Nigeria

My job is demanding and I need assistance with my kids for at least the first 2-3weeks till I get some professional help.
Until then,I would like to apply for my Mom to visit ASAP

My question is..
Can my husband be her sponsor?
what will be her reason for visit ?
What do we write in her cover letter that can help?
When is the best time to apply? I’m starting work in January
At what point do I come-in in her application.

Pls help me. I need answers sad child care in UK is no joke

Good day great people, please i want to know if it's a general issue, my sister did her biometric 30th of October this year and up till this moment she hasn't received any mail from TLS, she has also tracked it via TLS but yet to be transferred to VAC. Anyone experiencing same issue?

I have never been to Gatwick but I have a feeling they have the same memo on how to question tourists. People say Gatwick is not tough but it's far to where I'm headed in the UK so I fly through Heathrow. All I can say rn is that make sure you're yourself and be able to answer all question intelligently and be truthful.

Safe trip.

Why I had no issues with the boarder officer was because, I was honest.

I saved a name and added TLS to it....that's was the whatapp chat she went to straight while reading the chat she asked me about our conversation n I was telling her right there n asked who the person is to me. I told her I met the person at the application center when I went to apply for my visa of which this person is an applicant too.

She searched my wallet brought out everything . Checked my two phones and read some of my chats. I was there for 20 to 30 minutes.

She brought out everything in my luggage and wiped my luggage to scan.

While she was checking she was asking me questions and I was responding truthfully.

To those that might have an unconscious implicating chats or mail.

Thanks all for your contributions to my question.
What I’m afraid of is that i get tensed or agitated when I’m being asked questions. Its just my nature but nevertheless i will try my best to be calm when answering questions. Thanks.
Also in my application i said I didn’t have any relation in the UK but my sister is picking me up at the airpot. I hope this won’t be an issue when asked who’s picking me up and the relationship between me and the person.

This particular issue has been dealt with on this platform on many occasion. Do not disclose your sister is picking you up or else you will be on your way to Nigeria & you might also be ban for some years since you didn't declare you have someone in UK in your application.

Please let us be truthful in our application because whatever you fill in your form goes a long way.

My advise is for you to book a cheap hostel you can cancel for free once you pass immigration & stick to the story you filled in your form/application.

Never should you say you have a sister in the UK, since you have filled in your form and you have indicated you have no one in the UK, your story should not change at all.BUT you can say you have some friends tho
Make your hotel reservation and do not cancel until you leave the airport.
You should also have your return ticket with you and should correspond to the number of days you have filled.
hold some cash and your credit card
If you are employed you can take your leave approval letter from your company(optional tho but it will cost nothing if you have it with you)
if possible self delete you and your sister conversation on WhatsApp just to be on the same side since you have indicated you have got no relations
