Was shocked at their own understanding of the word and never seen anybody else with that view.
Looks like many dudes here are psychologically apprehensive with that mentality of "they are looking down on me as a taxi driver but they don't know it's my car and I'm a graduate bla bla"
behave!

On my way back from lekki last night. Set destination to yaba after I don chop fish for aboki place by GTBank phase 1. Request came.
After 5mins

Caller: Oga where are you?!
Me: Good Evening.
Caller: Oga where are you?!!
Me: Are we fighting?
Caller: What do you mean? I said where are you Oga??
Me: Phase 1
Caller: come fast we are going to surulere
Me: okay

Got there. Saw her and her friends. She called.

Oga drive forward, since we have been waiting. Or I should call you 100 times before you come.
I came out of the car, left the hazard on and was strolling up and down stretching my legs.

She called again. I picked. OGA!! ARE YOU NOT THW TAXIFY DRIVER?! WHY ARE YOU LAZING ABOUT? If you're not going tell me.

I kept quiet. Till she finished and they walked up to where I was standing.

Oga are you not Mr. Chassis? I said yes I'm. Then why all these rubbish. You will pick my call and not say nothing bla bla bla. I just told her... Babe, no matter what you're passing thru, attitude is a virtue.

Goodnight.

I no cancel. She no cancel. I drove till Maryland nothing. Na so I help her cancel am.

I'd give a months salary to see the reaction on her face.bros, you're an epic responder . my left ball salute you grin

Dokyoloye, the general term 'Oga' can be an hallmark of respect among contemporary Nigerians but its different with these Olosho girls especially with their tone .
You need to walk a mile in our shoes to understand what we go through .
One just ruined my day as i am typing this. When i got her request at Lekki , i put a call through to ask for destination and she flared up, so i tried to explain that I've been dodging VIO officers for sometime due to my broken tail light, that i have been extorted on this job enough, so i'd like to keep away from their troubles (12pm -3pm) even though i knew i will be at fault, if they apprehend me but ain't gat the money to buy a new brake light, she hissed throughout the call and later VGC.
Midway through our journey, i perceived some foul smell, i had to open the window for fresh air but the odour didn't go away, Damn!
When we got to ikate, i told her i need to pull over to check what's smelling, only for me to discover that this girlie don shit for body inside my chacha leather seats Ford Mondeo cry
It was nauseating and before i could utter a word, she vomited. I had to rush to get her water to clean up.
My car is messed up already and the only word she mutter was i will give you 500 naira to clean your car at a car wash.
I felt like slapping this skele and after i managed to take her to her destination, rudely, she said she does not have any money on her, that the person she came to see is not picking her calls .
She didn't even give me the pleasure of an apology. This was someone who lashed out at me for not putting on my AC before i drove to her street, hissed at me because my car charger didn't recognize her iPhone cord.
What would you do in that situation?
Was she drunk or out........I can't take any 500 from her, she must clean the poo and do a thorough cleaning of my car, else the world will hear us on how she poo inside my car

Prince3, please enough of these jabs abeg.
I'm the one who shared the bad experience of a rider stealing my money and ndubuis was trying to justify why he would never leave a passenger in his car, he's entitled to his opinion, we all are.
The same way i let it slide when Tyche said i was careless as if i envisaged such incident.
We are all to share our experiences, learn from mistakes, crack jokes and have a good laugh about ourselves not some condescending talks some fellas are spewing.
Let peace reign!
We're all brothers on this thread irrespective of how long we've been on the street trying to make some bread.

I've try not to delve into d Oga matter, cos I don't have a clear tot regarding it... But from my own angle, if I'm with a lady dat is nagging or stressing me, I use madam to address her henceforth & deh don't find it funny "so I'm now madam?" grin... Just like most girl's or lady's don't like to b address as woman. Where I live, everyone tries to b formal, even couple dat happened to b deeper life uses sir/ma to address each other (so unromantic *frown face*), i dont like it, but I've to get in tune wit dem. grin grin grin I have a client in his 50s, he practically ask me (not once or twice) not to use sir on him, he doesn't like it, but I don't know how to go about chatting with him without adding the sir at interval... You people can never be satisfied.. Uber you people complain slavery, commission too low, request too low and the list goes on and on. U now have a new company to shake things up ..because of Ocar uber and co are now behaving themselves, because of Ocar drivers are making money.. Because of Ocar now ,the market is regulated itself, at least things seems to be getting better now.. A lot of you drivers what you make a day is what some make in a month.. Be patient and Ocar will sort itself out ....Be patient

Comprehension.

The poster wasn't complaining about money or charges but their app. Should we lie about their app because Ocar has forced uber and bolt to self regulate?

10% after 30 vs 3% after 20

Just musing
These two are freaking confusing I must say.
10% after 30trips: bolts:Uber request is like 3:2 on the island and 4:1 on the mainland
3% after 20trips: Uber:bolt riders behavior is like 5:0, cancellation charges 300:0 naira.
Also bolt charges are way higher than Uber.

One will need a mathematician to be able to tell which one is better among the two.

The competition is getting interesting

Yes, i did because after i got her water to clean up her vomit, i thought about dropping her off and zoom off, but then again, if those people around saw this and they started shouting ritualist and my car gets mobbed in traffic and i get lynched on before i could defend myself, people like you would ask why do i not drive her down to her destination, or have you forgotten how someone here narrated a story of how he picked up a guy, not knowing he was insane, yet he still managed to drive him home to his mother after so many waiting time ?
Why would i frame up a lie? To get a cheap publicity? Not like they share part of their earnings with the person with the most concocted lies. Common mehn! But your reaction was way off from what the OP posted. If people aren't complaining about their app, how would they know and fix up.

You can't gag people from complaining about opay app because Ocar is giving uber and bolt strong competition.

Bro,don't let anyone judge you harshly, you did well. I would do exact same thing you did, what would be my gain dropping her on the road because she poo in my car? The deed had been done already and besides why would I subject her to public disgrace?

Please, if you find yourself in that situation over and over again, take the rider to his/her destination, help in cleaning his/her body by getting her water as you did. But in all this, remain cautious and guided, don't loose your guard.

God bless everyone.

Am sure Ocar is aware of the situation.. After spending millions of $ , am sure they will figure it out.. I said this years ago... I said one of the biggest edge that uber has apart from money , is the technology know how over the rest of the competition .. It is one thing to build an ehailing app ,anybody can build one for cheap.. But is another thing to have the expertise to run it efficiently.. Uber has that over the competition.. Am even surprised they didn't trade mark the application, I wonder how possible that could be self. Just wondering o

He already told the securities to grant me access. Security guys, nice guy gave me directions, off I zoomed picking dude just almost to his street.

We got to the place he live somewhere in Ajah dude asked me to reverse that he’s still going out. Few minutes later dude came out asking of 2k.

Jay: bro u get like 2k with you I won give my wife to buy something I’ll transfer to you, hope you accept transfer.

All through out that day I didn’t receive any alert from this dude but I received about 7k from two other Persian after his.

Next morning I called dude he said he has gotten alert. I said guy I didn’t get any money from you. Next day I called dude he said he’ll send me the money via someone’s account, few days later same promise and it goes on and on even up till this moment.

I reported him to taxify after 1week, ka ka they didn’t do anything about it. The thing just dey pain me like this enh...that 1k I have to him is what is even paining me the most.

The screen shot of the trip is attached within

Why would i frame up a lie? To get a cheap publicity? Not like they share part of their earnings with the person with the most concocted lies. Common mehn! This forum has been a great deal of help to me and i am indebted to the people ( Tojahh, Chillex, Pope 191, Gentle life, Kodred, Izzou, aunty radu, Gazzuz ,eherbal ,Yinka, Mr Jaydee, Ndubuis ,Cooladex, fasa 191 and every other person i forgot to mention) who've shared their experiences and took me in like their little brother even though we haven't seen yet .
People like you are very judgemental but what do i know, you're still looking for a car to drive.
Here menh what the Bleep are you saying even? It’s either you lack “slang”comprehension or your mind misinterpretes to you. You could even read me laughing at your ordeal, meaning I didn’t believe you did all that even with the disrespect you get from such person. We all have different level of tolerance and I fancy yours I must say but just imagine yourself, are you trying to make a mockery of me or sth What do you mean I’m still looking for a car to drive.
I can see you’re not normal. How dare you do that? You must be stupid for making a mockery of me.

Why am I even replying you self, people like you lack understanding and wisdom and from the looks you haven’t seen anything in life yet. Don’t worry...
