I don’t know where you got the three months from, but if you can get all your required documents to CGFNS on time, you can pay for expedited review which is 10working days. Obtaining the required documents from the different bodies in Nigeria, is where the delay comes from.

About this. Please I need urgent answers
Cgfns already received all my document
And reflected on my page as well, I paid for
Expedition on Monday then on Tuesday they told me the needed additional information from the school called ( good faith estimate ) on my
Clinical posting.
Pls has anyone experienced this one and how to handle it fast. Will it delay further the 10 days expedite process? Pls anyone

If they require additional information from your school then contact your school. It will delay the expedited process because your required documentation is not complete.

I had the same issue when I did mine. CGFNS wanted my school to estimate the time spent in obstetrics and separate it from gynecology.

Once you school replies, they would complete the process. If your school doesnt then they would issue a non comparable report.

Depends on your pocket and time. Both are registered nurses so you can use other criteria to choose which you prefer. Criteria such as proximity to your family, cost etc

OK so in terms of cost and "completeness" which is better... I don't want the one I will do and be forced to do 3 months of this or that.....

Hello, house. I'm a graduate of Human Physiology. Please how do I become a registered nurse and eventually get to practice in the US? Are there any accelerated nursing programs I can enroll for from Nigeria?
I look forward to receiving your responses to my questions..

1......You can choose to attend a school of nursing in Nigeria(3yrs). Or attend a university (4years direct entry or 5years through jamb).

2.......USA,UK and CANADA all have after degree accelerated nursing programs. Do a google search for schools with a tuition you can afford then apply to them. If you are granted the Visa then you can relocate to study them abroad.

3.......you can also check other countries with Visas that are easier to get. Eg Philippines

I heard that if you go to a nursing school you have to go to a university for another 3year to obtain a bsc...and the bsc is more valuable in terms of employment than the other

Well....both are "complete" because you are both registered nurses.
However, the school of nursing is a diploma and the other is a bachelor's degree. You may be open to more job offers when you have a BSN but it is not written in stone.
Obtaining a BSN after nursing school in Nigeria would take 4 years not 3 (excluding strike).

However, if you wish to travel out of Nigeria to practice, I would advise you do the faster program which is the nursing school (3years). Bsn from scratch is 5years and 4 years after a degree.

You can get a USA RN license or a UK license and do the RN- BSN program from as little as 6mths to as long as you want to stretch the online training.

Therefore, evaluate what your long term goals are and act accordingly.

Honestly my plan is to work abroad there is not I hate like being limited when you have the opportunity to complete something.... Please I heard that the certificate is released to you 2 years after completion of the program...is that true

For nurses in usa..
Most agencies pay for one month rent and give them some stipend on arrival.
my question:
Does anyone that has migrated successfully as an agency nurse, know the minimum amount a nurse should have before traveling to U.S to enable the nurse settle down ??
