What we should concern ourselves with is what the Constitution says about Dual-citizenship as regards to contesting for elective positions in Nigeria. Section 25 allows people with dual-citizenship to contest for the office of the President on the ground that one of his parents must be a Nigerian by birth. For instance, if my father is from Liberia and my mother is from Nigeria, I can contest for an elective position in Nigeria despite me being a citizen of Liberia.

On the other hand Section 137(a) frowns at Nigerian citizen who willingly register as a citizen of another country to contest for the office of the President. If Sowore is a citizen of the US which I know he's not, he must have gotten it by registration not by birth or one of his parents being a US citizen which means he falls under the category of those who are not allowed to contest for the office of the President going by section 137(a).

Well, your link did call him a New Jersey Journalist but gave no detail about his citizenship. However, you did raise a valid point, the last person that would bend the rule for him to run for president is Buhari.
