Please Medical personnel in the house, I will need your help. A friend has this lump in the chest close to the neck, he has gone for different test. He was later asked to do CT scan which he did and they said it is Tumor.

The issue now is the guy is so scared of going for the operation, I want to know first the likely cost of such operations, any side effect, any alternative to the operations. Any suggestion is welcomed.

Pls don't tell me that this is not hospital, we have exhausted our knowledge that's why I'm asking for suggestions from people that might have seen such cases and how it was handled.

First, did you know whether biopsy of the tumor has been done to know if it is cancerous or not?

No he was told is not cancerous

Since it is not cancerous.. Let him go for surgery



This is the second case on FP today. Lipoma or some stuff.

Get a General surgeon to get it off and send it for histology

Since it's not cancerous,he should go for surgery, it's a benign masses of fat cells,it' not that big of a deal,is it hard or soft?

Could be an osteochondroma or even sarcoma. Less likely to be a lipoma.

See a general surgeon, get it excised and send for excisional biposy. There’s really no other alternative.

Finally it has developed to AIDS.

Since it's not cancerous,he should go for surgery.Its going to be a bit expensive but with good friends,family, and we'll wishers anything is possible.

Bro visit a hospital..let them do a biopsy of that,to know whether it's benign or malignant. Course of management will be discussed with you after results
