That my plantain is still there looking at me cry
I will soon convert it to plantain foofoo.

These days I can use anything to make foofoo as long as I have my binder which is oat.

If u want to make bitter leave or oha soup but don't have that anambra cocoyam(there is a type of cocoyam in the market called anambra cocoyam. don't know why it's called so) use oat flour.
It's the same texture with that cocoyam. U will never notice the difference. Small small until u achieve a perfect consistency of your choice. blender can do the magic but if no blender, good old mortar and pestle will do.
Original it is called Ede anambe, but my people converted it to Ede Anambra..(Anambra cocoyam).
Plus it's the particular type used for the usual Anambra bitter leaf soup.
Ede=cocoyam in igbo.

Cococandy...after seeing you add broccoli to your dishes, I decided to try it. I saw it at a popular market here. The man said 200 last for the small one. I was confused on how to wash and cook.
Well, I washed under running tap water, cooked in salted water for about 5 minutes. It tasted nice though...... 24hrs later I was purging for over 12hrs non stop o..I thought i will die of dehydration. I lost both my strength and appetite (thanks to Zimotil and Oral rehydration salt)

After recovery, I decided to launch my appetite with this chunky and spicy okra soup and eba! It did justice to my taste buds.

@eyinjuege. That spaghetti is inviting! The pot is also lit. Well done

Hi Akpos...
Sorry you got sick.
Next time, try soaking your vegetables in salt water for some minutes before washing and eating, it helps a lot .
Our vegetables are not precleaned you know...

I was gifted bunch of okazi leaves. Had to cut, dry and blend to conserve it. I feel like a grown woman, lmao. Would have thrown it away in the past. Maybe I will put NAFDAC No and start selling to Cococandy and co. grin

Used some to make afang soup though.
