I love his mentality on the street traders. Honestly, that's a good thinking. Taking one source of livelihood is the worst thing that can happen to anyman. Any government that can have the interest of the common man at heart will definitely go far! Keep it up sir! The spirit of the common man you have so considered will be with you, strengthen you and bring forth feats to your administration! Weldone sir!

8GB atm card flash drive for #1000 only. Nice gift for your clients this season. Moq is 12pcs. Check my signature below to contact me.
Yea I concur with d Street trader thing very much. May God bless d Governor on that matter and beyond. Lagos state govt should learnt from that. U just don't send people off from their way of survival cos Naija situation still in surviving mode!

Did you here him say the last dispensation left the state in debt.. They 'used' the allocation then borrowed to build the roads so GSM can pay... If he pays then he built the roads simple!

You don't understand the level of corruption those guys are into. He may not be able to build a uni but I am pretty sure he could afford to build a dozen of lecture theaters.

fairfora:
but not enough to build a university na. Just 2 lecture theatres would consume his coins.

the city is worst than lagos, there is nothing he can do

Yes it is but 13 month is an act of benevolence, not entitlement or maybe you don't understand the concept of 13month.

Look, London is not just skyscrapers and tech buildings but the ability to sustain and empower structures which government is doing. Do you know how many narrow roads are in the UK but those narrow roads and streets are well sustained such that it's only when it's absolutely needed to expand that they the road and it's not like there space to expand to like that. If there already have a. Good structure, with a tight budget, they can sustain what they have and improve where it's needed rather than embarking on projects they won't see the end.

He said the state finance was in bad shape when he took over. Maybe, the former governor was borrowing to do all that. But GSM ain't gonna borrow

That’s the problem with you guys is that you think development is all roads and bridges.. even a brainless governor can do that.. ,in fact they need stupid projects to make themselves richer...how has that affected people’s life personally.. right now Oyo road is okay.. good policies that will alleviate poverty and improve lives for generations is what we need.
Well spoken.

Democracy can only survive if there are much more literate and well educated people than there are illiterate. The inverse is the case in Nigeria. So, that's the problem.

True.
But when you have people who elevate tribal and religious-affiliation over rational thinking and foresight, even amongst educated lots, you will get the problem in Nigeria. Educated people jettisoning their education EVEN within the same tribe to think about Abrahamic religious alliances.

nigerians can never be pleased. You guys are 50% of nigeria's problems. If he was fixing roads and missed salary payment you nincompoops would say he owes salary. Like a guy rightly said some days ago, "85% of nigerians need brain rehabilitation".

this is a good one from the gov. any govt that thinks of the well-being of the common man is on the right track. when last did bubu organise any media-chat ? we need a media-chat from bubu asap, because communication is very important in governance, he need to address the nation on critical issues at hand, not just allowing some lying aides to complicate issues for him.
