You must adopt her. Someone posted the links to successful adoptions a few pages back. Just scroll through and read them. You can't take her if she's not your adopted child.

Thanks a lot. I'm already going through the pages. I appreciate!

Remove her from your profile now, this can be termed as misinterpretation. You have to adopt her legally before you can add her to your application.

Thanks a lot, let me quickly do that. The issue has been bothering me o since. So I can add her when I have her legal adoption papers right?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Cryptomania: 1:43pm On Dec 24, 2019
Yes! Don't cut corners while at it. They ask for evidences.

1. Once you can prove the job is genuine, nothing stops you from using it.

2. If your work visa is also genuine, it wouldn't affect your Express Entry applications. But note that a lot of fake agents out there promise two year Canadian work visa. Be watchful and don't get scammed. Submitting dubious documents to Canadian embassy can hurt your chances later on.
WisdomSof:
Good morning everyone and a big congrats to everyone who just got their PPR.

I am about to start my journey and I think I will need all the experience and support I can get.
I have used the CRS tool and my score is 387

My first question is

1. Can I use an already existing employment for EE?( the job is in my field as an admin assistant)

2. Will having a two-year work permit which is already running, jeopardize an application for PR?

Please everyone, help a sister in need of direction.

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Snowflake27: 2:55pm On Dec 24, 2019
It is PPR!!! Guys it has been a journey but at last God has done it!

ITA-26th June
CRS score-493
NOC-0112
AOR; 18th August
VO-Ottawa
PPR-23rd december

Background;
I moved to Canada in 2008 with the intention to study, i was nearing the completion of my diploma, when i decided to speed things up by moving to the UK for studies instead, so i abandoned the diploma. After my degree and masters were completed, I headed home to Nigeria......In retrospect this wasn’t such a great idea but here we are...
Moved back and had to join the family business as per lack of JOB in the country.
I have always known about express entry but I wasn’t motivated to do it, don’t ask me ….
Anyways in 2017, I started dating my fiancé and he kept talking about it and urging me to apply since all my siblings lived there, I eventually succumbed in May 2018 and wrote the infamous IELTS, I was so sure that I was going to scale through, as English has always been my favourite subject in school and considering the amount of Essays I have had to hand in, in the course of my studies. Anyways British council had its own plans LSWR- 8.0, 7.5, 6.5, 8.5. I applied for a remark but while waiting for the outcome, I started my degree evaluation with WES, I evaluated both degrees and it was seamless, I got my evaluation in June/July 2018.

Before then, i got the outcome, the result remained unchanged, this shook my faith. Safe to say, I put a hold on the Canadian dream. My brother even had to send me some money to encourage me to rewrite the exams but I spent it grin

Fast forward to August 2018, i got my dream job, a very juicy offer with an international organisation this further pushed the canadian dream to the back burner. However, In January this year i got a new boss, who was out to frustrate me, that spurred me to kickstart the IELTS movement. I quickly registered for the exam in February with BC. My result came out and it was LSWR-8.5,8.5,7,6.5
I was sad but i quickly booked another one with BC for march my result was LSWR-8.0,7.5,6.5,8.5
I decided to cool it and think of another way forward. However, I dreamt one night, that I had applied for a remark and my score was changed; so the next day i went to pay for a remark. It was a huge disappointment as the result came back unchanged.

Hmmm, i began to doubt if this was for me. All the money and time/effort gone to waste. I decided to try one last time in May. This time i decided to use IDP. I only heard about them after my last IELTS attempt with BC. I decided to do things differently this time, i actually prepared for my writing, i spent days writing and rewriting essays. I listened to Jay from E2 language and followed every step.(P.s as at the time of this preparation i was recovering from a surgery)

On the day of my speaking i was on heavy painkillers, after the speaking i remembered saying to some of the staff there, that i might have flunked this one, as i was slow to answer the questions and i felt i didn't make use of a wide range of vocabularies. Anyhoo, on the day of the other modules, i was still semi-drugged. I decided to do something, i had never done before in my previous exams, i took 5 mins to use the rest room after the reading module, i came back to look through and realised some errors which i promptly corrected. I didn't dive into the essay writing, i took some minutes to draft my essay and my letter. My results came out in June, that day i was in a training, my fiance sent me a screenshot of my result; LSWR-8.0,8.0,7.5,9.0, I was numb, i couldn't even react and this became the game changer

ITA to PPR:
I got my ITA in June but i had to travel because of work, so i was out of town for the most part in July and some of August. Before i travelled, i did my medicals with IOM; i was not feeling well that day and it almost messed up my test, long story short i had one of the nurses promise to call me if there was any issues with my test result. Thankfully, she called to say everything was okay.

PCC; I did my Nigerian police clearance that same day and had my friend pick it up for me, when it was ready.
My UK PCC was pretty straightforward, i requested it to be sent to me in Nigeria, i was happy that it arrived in time.

POE;My reference letters were pretty easy as well, i however did not submit my payslips, i just submitted my employment letter and my reference letter.

POF;I got my POF from my dad, i uploaded the transfer receipt, my 6 months bank statement for only two of my accounts, I did a deed of gift and an affidavit to support my POF. I could only get letter of indebtedness from one of the banks, so i uploaded that.

During the wait my parents got their Permanent residence through the sponsorship route......That made me become more worried, as i did not want them leaving without me.

Anyways, Last night, i woke up around 1am cos the light went off. Immediately i picked up my phone, i saw that the golden mail from ottawa had been sitting in my mailbox since 11pm. I just took a screenshot and sent it to all my siblings.

Looking back, there were lots of errors in my application, all my documents had different contact address, i didnt write any LOE to explain this, no payslips, my FD ran out and was reinvested but i did not update CIC with the new investment certificate, and so on...............

Im thankful to God for this journey, it taught me perseverance. I am really grateful for my family, they each took time to stand in the gap for this, my fiance was my support throughout this process, i cant even say all he did, infact he scanned and uploaded all my documents singlehandedly.
The various indian whatsapp groups i joined, helped me to keep busy during the wait and our dear nairaland was also very helpful during my wait period
I wish everyone speedy processing!! cool

Good morning sirs/ma,
Congratulations to all PPR clinchers and ITA recipients.

Please I am pleading with anyone that has an earlier date with Qlife to please swap with us.
ITA was received on Dec 11th and expiry date is Feb 10, 2020 which happens to be the only earlier slot left at Qlife.

We already made booking (family of 2) and payment done already. I already sent them an email and was told that they can't reschedule (REMITA receipt and ITA mail was attached to the mail sent). Please who can direct us on how to make them reschedule us for an early date.

God bless you guys.

please I'm begging anybody who can swap or help with this ordeal.. Edakun

Plz can I enter the pool while I request for a remark... I have just been sad since yesterday. It's it possible to remark reading ND get a positive response. Reading came in as 6.5 all I need is 0.5 more to be perfect. I just want to enter the pool cry cry

Yes enter the pool...but rewrite the IELTS..dont waste your money trying to remark reading..it won't change..its only writing that has a slight chance to improve after remarking not reading or listening.

You actually should have started the process of renewing once it entered the six month to expiry timeframe. Once you're on the EE journey, you don't want passport expiry to hinder you in any way. You can try sending them a mail to see what they say.

This has been for the past 2 weeks now. Even the last person that went Dr yesterday said he made sure they did the reply in his front.. I am just wondering how a mail will be sent to Wes since 10th and yet Wes is saying they haven't received it..

Hi Bro, Pls which module did u have issue on and where did you write the exam because I was also surprised when I saw 22 in my CNT which I don't understand till now

Denerystormborn:

Hello Dinma,i am in the same shoes as you. I was terribly heartbroken on friday when i got my results. I am also going to rewrite gje failed module, but i intend alao studying for cima. I am a programmer and i know how much effort i will have to put in...but the fear of waiting another 6months to know my fate with this bcs thing is killing. Also,i dont intend rushing into the cima, since there arr foir modules,i intend studying one month after another and writing the exams after every month or two of study..as a step is better than waiting. Besides, uou never know when you would need the certificate....no knowledge is waste.

Please who kaplan questions and tutorial notes to share with us..i heard they are good

I read somewhere that you can raise a "CSE" form or something, i do not know what that is yet.
I also read that it is a minor error that can be overlooked since your International Passport and your other documents have the correct name.
