I doubt this though. I had 3.77/5.0. Wes evaluated it to be 3.30/4.0.

brashear:

You have to write GRE bro, English proficiency test can still be waived depending on the school you are applying to.

Please do WES evaluation if you can afford the money, it usually results in a higher gp than in house schools evaluation. Your 3.21 gpa should be around 3.0 - 3.1 by WES evaluation. Also, find schools that accept WES.

Goodluck

WES has an online GPA calculator that you can use for free. You can use that to know the equivalent

Good day,

I’m planing towards going for my masters degree this year. Pls how can I get a fully funded scholarship in the US and which exams do I’ve to write?

Also what would be the equivalent of a 3.21/5.0 in a scale of 4.0?

Thank you.

Hi everyone, I registered to 4 schools that doesn’t request English proficiency exam from Nigerians/ degree earn in Nigeria. I registered and submitted to University of Kansas in a haste just to meet up with the application deadline ; 7/01/2020 (for funding). After submission, it now dawned on me that Nigeria is not included as part of the English proficiency waived countries; this was a rude shock considering the fact that Kansas state university waived TOEFL/IELTS for Nigerians and shared similar deadline with the former.

I sent a message to the department but they are currently on break until 6/01/2020. Well, I somehow crossed my mind and not to think of the worse possible outcome.

However, do anyone know if any Nigerian(s) get admission and funding to Uni of Kansas without English proficiency exam ?

By the way, intended program is MA Political Science with GRE score- 318

Thanks

Give me ur GRE score

said should be o, was just a straight conversion i did. if it is more, then i am literally jumping up right now grin grin, cause id be glad as i will be favoured as well o.
that means 3.62/5.0 will give me well over 3.0/4.0 right?

Well I had 3.12/5 and it resulted in a 3.08/4 WES evaluation.

Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by Milkshakes01(f): 5:29pm On Jan 02, 2020
That’s a very bad thing to do. I’m glad you have accepted your mistake. Some people get to prepare for 2-3 months and still don’t get up to 300. Study harder if you are still interested in PhD or look for schools which require low GRE score for Msc in your field.

Lol that tricky exam is no joke at all. Aside self studying for 4 months, had to employ a personal maths tutor to brush up my maths skills I’ve long forgotten. Don’t give up, there’s still lots of hope!

If you knew you were not prepared. You shouldn’t have taken the test.

Hi,

I would like to know if it's safe for an applicant to appear for interview just 7 days to class start date. Won't the Consular Officer think the time is short for the student to resume? Is it better if he requests school to extend his latest resumption date?

Yes bro, I mean PGD.

Bro, please can you explain what you mean by tier2 or rather the names of the school so I can make a research on it. Just checked tier2 schools online and I did not get clear info.
Thanks

Firstly, I have never heard of post graduate diploma (PGD) before in the USA, you may need the help of Google search to do your findings.

Secondly. Tier2 Universities are mostly called "safe schools". They are public universities whose minimum admission requirements falls between 2.5/4 and 3/4.0

E.g Southern Arkansas university, alcorn, indiana state University, the list is endless.

Happy new year house. I pray this year will be our year of Grace and favour. Please I need suggestions on schools that give full funding for MBA. Thanks

Full funding for MBA?,
for top 10 B-schools?, Yes. Very possible
For tier2 B-schools?, almost impossible, the highest you can get is tuition free while you sort out living expense on your own.

In the US, STEM courses rank higher in scholarships and funding than business degrees.

Besides, what's your cgpa and gmat/GRE scores?

First of all, what is your proposed course of study at masters level?

Secondly, use wes free evaluator on the wes website to calculate your GPA to 4.0. It's free to use

should be about 2.568 /4.0

That's not true, my undergraduate cgpa was 2.85/5.0 and my wes evaluated transcript came out as 2.98/4

Let him use the free wes evaluator, fill each courses and scores to get the correct estimated gpa

Hello...Happy New Year to everyone here.

I’ve been admitted for a Masters in Communications at Grand Valley State University but no funding/ GA yet.

Please I want to know if I should go ahead and pay my Sevis fee for my I-20 to be prepared or wait till I get a GA cus I think a funding/GA status is something that reflects on the I-20 document.

Please anyone with a helpful response...I will
be reading.

Cheers

I sent you a pm. kindly respond.I applied to the same school for ms data science and analytics. My plan is to start in fall semester. let's talk abeg
