So I bought a domain yesterday from ED and I was charged. I have changed the name server and all to DAN.

I checked this morning and it shows 'pending delete'. I gathered it will be on pending delete for another 5 days?

My question is can any of these drop catch companies still pick it up after I have paid and been charged?

The domain is yours already since you have control over the DNS.
it takes like a day for it to reflect as registered on ED so you dnt need to worry ..

I don't get how you submitted up to 5 when the ma I can submit at once is 2 until they are either rejected or accepted

If you are limited to 2 names, especially for unregistered names, it will increase over time until, as your acceptance rate for those names increases. it all calculated in percentages. if it keeps getting rejected, it will remain low.

even after the limit increases, if the acceptance rates starts to drop, it gets limited too

with the introduction of coins now, i dont know if the above has changed

This is what I did.
Edited the card details, by replacing it with one of my cards that I don't use but it's still valid, just that I don't save money or do any transactions with it.

You could do same or transfer all your funds in that card account to another account.

Unfortunately, the other card I have can no longer work for online transactions, so the system rejects it.

Please let me know if you have more suggestions.
