Most placements don’t pay students. You are allowed only 20hrs of paid work weekly and minimum wage is £8.21/hr

Funmibiyi96:
Hello Everyone,
Please I am new to the page and would like to ask a question

How much can I expect to earn as a work placement student in the UK?

I got admission into Teesside University for September 2020 (had to defer from Sept 2019) for MSc Food process Engineering - 1 year of coursework and 6 months of work placement. Tuition fee is 15000 pounds but I get to pay 7500 per year (2 years masters). I can raise the initial 7500 pounds and upkeep costs before resuming for the first year but I am hoping to earn the remaining 7500 during the work placement. Can that work? i wouldnt want to go without having a plan and get stranded.
Please gurus, respond.

Priority wouldn't suffice? I applied immediately after i got my certificate in November, the school took a while before i got my admission, and i had to do my credibility interview with the school twice to that slowed me down

Which school? There might be a deadline for enrolment which will be stated on your CAS. Some schools give 2 weeks or 1 month extension from resumption date.
Priority would suffice if there's an extended date.
Super priority will be required if your CAS states you must be in school by 13th January.

Hello people!
About that TB certificate, must I do another xray?
I did medicals mid last year for Canada so I don’t know if IOM can use that test results to prepare a TB certificate rather than me doing another xray. Apart from the money involved, exposure to xray once again in less than a year is not too good.
Any ideas or anybody been in this situation before
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by caleb00(m): 9:49pm On Jan 04, 2020
You'd have to do it again, the medical results you did for Canada is totally different from the one you get for uk result. Even before doing anything they'd ask you what country you're going to, these guys are very meticulous about the thing. There's no way around it.

By ‘this January’ you meant January 2020?
We are already 5 days into January. You sure you didn’t mean January 2021?

No pregnancy test is required.
TB chest X-ray is all that is required.

Good news is: you might still be able to have chest x-ray even while you are gravid.
Make sure you reveal your pregnancy to the radiography folks though.

Happy New Year.
1. Go to www.google.com
2. Type in desired qualification, then desired course of study, followed name of the Abroad country. Hit enter.
( I have attached 2 examples of this. 1 is masters in rocket science in Germany. 2. Is masters in Marlian dance (as in Naira Marley) in the UK.

3. Peruse through and make your search.

4. If UK happens to be your desired location, and you have chosen a course and you still need help.

4. Come back to this thread and shoot your questions.

Did you opt for super priority? Have you had previous visa denials? That might be the reason

Please is there anyone that got this that still got their visa approval ? I’m trying not to worry too much. I paid for standard because I have an extension for resumption till the 17th of February.

If you have been reading this thread you'd have seen information regarding this, but no, you guys won't study, but you want to do master in UK...

This is an automated message they send just incase your application would be delayed small..

It's nothing to worry

Well, I had read something like that earlier. Nothing wrong with just trying to reaffirm what I think I “may” already know.
@nothing to worry, thank you.
