Seat position doesn't matter at all. Once it is your time it is your time.
But in dis case, one in back sit might survive .....

I wanna ask a question. Is it when the brake oil had been exhausted that a car brake can fail? Or is there any other event apart from empty brake oil that could lead to brake failure?
the electronics nowadays think like a button.

Me do over 120km/h in an SUV. I dey craze?
I can risk overspeeding in a sedan never in an SUV unless its an urus.
I swear, handling on a suv is poor to me compared to handling on a sedan.

If youve had a brake failure and you still think it could just happen anyhow on a car then you know nothing about cars and should research well rather than getting a driving licence and start driving....brake doesn't just fail in car.. It takes processes and stages, its only when you dont know its symptoms and signs and it reaches its peak because of neglet, then its bound to fail. Same thing with tire, a car tire cant just start and burst on a moving car no matter how bad it is without following its normal bad tire signs, (dancing, shaking, vibration, reduction in speed then burst).. All boils down to negret and ingnorance of the stages and signs of parts failure.
Can u just shed a light on the possible cause of it. I need it. Because it happened when I had moved on a long distance. Short distance, it doesnt fail

For brakes. Check your brake oil guage, and inquire from a nearby mechanic where it should have been. If your brake pad is bad or worn out, your brake oil would appear low on guage,it means the pressure from the brake is not strong again and it cant push up much pressure which will cause the brake oil to come low on guage, on constant neglet on this ,youll notice your brakes no longer stops like on a a quick match.the stiffness on the pedal gradually reduces,on much neglet ,on the high way with much speed you applied for emergency, it instantly pumps pressure buh since its already low, the brake system collapse when it tries to catch up.then the person expects and accepts the reality on ground.. ...this can take a short or long time to complete before the brake fails when needed most..... hope ive answered you a bit.

My brake oil was still ok, at least at a reasonable level.

This is such an avoidable loss of life. In the USA “anti run under bars” are required on the back of all trucks and trailers.

If we had them in Nigeria then these folks might have walked away from this crash.
