Please I would really appreciate your suggestions, what postgraduate course can someone with bsc Microbiology go for in UK, one that would make it easier to get a job while/after schooling.. I also need suggestions on the best cities with good availability of students jobs, any other cities outside of London.

Go for MSc nursing (pre registration). Its 2 years with hospital placement. But expensive.

I did mine in Abuja. I guess yours should be ready cos mine was dated 3rd January which means it has been ready all this while. Just pray and be patient. I cried to God sincerely this morning and told him that no matter what method or procedure they are using that I must be contacted today and God answered my prayers just as I requested cos I haven't been myself this past days......

1. Go and apply for your transcript and course description from your uni

2. Apply for MSc applied biomedical sciences (I think Leeds, liverpool and Glasgow offer this)
Applied biomedical sciences allows you to do placement while ur studying which gives u experience and will allow u complete registration portfolio to be registered with the HCPC.

3. Without HCPC registration YOU CAN NOT work in NHS labs. NHS is the highest employer of biological science graduates in the country.

Thousand of students graduate yearly without experience and hence finding it hard to get into the NHS labs for jobs. The smart ones are those that did the UNPAID placement while studying and was fortunate enough to be registered with HCPC.

Once u graduate with ur name on the HCPC register and of course the experience U gathered while studying chances of getting a job is 99.9999999%

Follow these steps and thank me later

Most unis want u to have minimum of 6 months experience working in health care settings.

And as u rightly said, the tuition is expensive and u have to pay for 2 years.

All UK unis allow flexible payment of the balance after paying the 50% before issuing CAS

There’s usually a 5-10% discount if u pay ur tuition in FULL within a set date

There’s enough petty jobs for students to sustain and pay ur bills while ur studying but ur placement might take most of ur time

You can stay back if u like the city or u can relocate to another city you have family and friends.

Not all allows instalment, some will ask for full payment of the balance during your orientation.

It is good that you are asking this question now before getting to the UK.

Firstly don't come to the UK if you are not financially prepared..by that I mean your full school fees and have access to your maintenance money because you need to settle down first before looking for job.

Your studies will suffer if you are planning to come and work to sustain yourself while studying full time.

Yes you can stay back after graduation only if you apply for PSW or you graduated with good grade and was able to secure tie2 visa else you have to leave the UK shortly after graduation.

Kindly browse the internet and read up on the course. You don’t need a previous nursing degree hence that’s why its a pre registration course. You already have a science background. Just read up

Admission to study what?

Google search the course you want to study and select from the list of unis

Send a copy of ur certificate to them let them tell u if it meets the criteria or not

Good morning

This is such a general question. You've to put a time frame. Otherwise, anyone that did biometrics months/years ago can tell you yes, they've gotten Visa.
