Jesus saw his death, even said it to the hearing of his followers, including Judas.
It is only logical to say that Jesus did not prevent his own because his birth and death was meant for a divine purpose. If he wanted to prevent it, he could have done the simplest thing of running away from Israel, maybe to a place like Nigeria, that would have saved everything.

I knew some shallow minded people were coming to say this. Now remember that one of the greatest prophets of all time, Elijah ran for his life hiding in caves, subjected to hunger and having to treck for 40 days all because a woman vowed to kill him. That was the same Elijah that even brought the dead back to life. Does that mean he wasn't a prophet? It only means he isn't God but rather an oracle of God that can only function as much as God wants him to function. Same can be true of this woman.

Adam the first/ original man fell from grace and we can't blame him for not seeing the devil manipulate Eve his wife and mate to engineer his end from who he was to what we now have.
