RN7 screen is actually 16k courtesy of Mac.beyland on Xiaomi store thread. That's just an example of how cheap it is. Imagine a 1080p Full high definition IPS LCD of over 300ppi density and about 400 nits of brightness. It's a steal.

Raya stores are all over the country and they take of warranty cases as well as repairs. If you choose not to go that route, Nairaland is here for you. The Xiaomi thread store has parts available at very cheap prices. Get a very good repair guy like repair palng and bang! It's is done.

AliExpress has different types of shipping. If you choose to use DHL or FedEx which are very expensive, you'll get it in days. If you use AliExpress shipping or China Post or Singapore post, you'll get your item in two weeks. If you choose free shipping from half way around the world to here, be ready to wait a very long time.
Redmi note 7 full screen plus touch is now even cheaper at 12k. You even get to have a free screen guard of 1500 together with the purchase.

No body in his right mind will compare SOT of HD screen to that of FHD screen and last I checked majority of transsion devices comes with HD screen.

My good sir, even my with my power hungry SD 660 running at a whopping 2.2 GHz and my Full High Definition display of 1080 pixels. My SoT is still better as proven by my screenshot above. Leave that matter.

One reason why technology won't advance anytime soon in this part of the world. People don't know the nitty-gritty of what they're being offered and are not even curious enough to find out. YouTube has plethora of videos from which one can learn from but that very desire to learn is just not there. The blame is partly not on end users though since they don't even use their phones to the fullest of its functionalities. A good design, high RAM/ROM, a household brand name and the ability of the phone to impress/oppress their peers and they're up for that... Even if not for anything serious, but the sake of the fact that you might be involved in discussions that borders on modern technology, I find it important for people especially youths to get themselves acquainted with the core parts/types of parts of devices they own.

What's QHD? What's FHD+? What's AMOLED? What's GPU?

Stuffs like this will make you make better choices.

That's Nigerians for you. You have encapsulated the whole phenomenon. Na just to show off. Newer technologies like Mobile VR, AR, PD, computational photography and OTG Technology as well as NFC and UFS are springing up while Nigerians are still living in the stone age.

It's a lie, it takes more than a month for you to order and receive the spare part. And it isn't cheap, the stress is out of this world and there are no repairers. If you can not do it yourself then you are On your Own. The only Xiaomi Office in Computer Village will charge you humongously to repair little problems

So much ignorance in this post. So you mean all Xiaomi phones that needed fixing were repaired by their owners?

I don't have time to quote barefaced liars and midgets. Not worth my precious time. Let it go.
