@cecenene right now you are not eligible for a tourist visa as you can’t afford a holiday and your home ties are very shaky.. concentrate on the school stuff or getting a better paying job .. pls this is the honest truth.. do not re-apply until your circumstances significantly change... and don’t even bother going to any agent anymore..

All expenses are not on me. Like I said, I have an invitation and the person that invited me is taking care of everything when I say everything I mean ticket fare, accommodation etc.

i have a suggestion,

i think we should download the application for and teach ourselves how to fill it and the type of documents to support each lines we fill.

i can see that alot of people not on this forum do shot themselves on there legs with what they fill and there doxuments presented.

an agent told one of my guy that he should be running his acount which is good and he adviced him to be lodging big and withdrawing big so as to convince the eco that he is a business man with no evidence of using dt big withdrawal for good bought (receipt or lpo)....i told him you might fumble by doing this, he never heeded to my advice and the agent even follow him up to the entrance in november, he got his passport back this morning, what was inside was nothing to write home about cos i am seeing something like MISREPRESENTATION BLA BLA BLA BLA....im afraid id they havent ban him.

so im of the opinion if we can bring up the application form and teach ourselves how to fill it correctly and the docs too.

OK but I am not the one sponsoring myself.

Who is your sponsor and did you mention this in your previous application?

did the person provide all documents required/requested.

to me the application should have been in this manner:

all documents provided should be renamed to
sponsors account statement,
your cover letter,
sponsor cover letter,
sponsor investment statement,
sponsor work letter,
sponsor passport,
sponsor ID, etc etc etc

with this i dont think u need any agent, so all the budden will be on the sponsor.

i know there is a point where u were askes in the form that is anybody contributing to this trip, this is where you will put the sponsor details and how much he/she will be contributing.

with this the search light will be on the sponsor cos it would have reflect in the sponsor cover letter that you are unemployed/housewife/housemaker/petty trader/ poultry farmer

hope u understand me, if not tell me the are u did not understand so that i can say somethings more

Please can you explain what you mean by my cover letter?

like a page letter telling the eco what you do in nigeria (which would have reflected in sponsor cover letter) and that you will return to nigeria on so so date and you will abide by all rules, laws and regulation of the uk government

and that all expenses will be taken care of by your sponsor name.(ds would have reflected in ur sponsor letter too)

but you will sign ds letter and your finace will sign the sponsor letter.

and one other thing that might give tou an edge is if your fiance will be the one to prepare all d docs over there in uk upload everything.

and d point on d form where they said : who filled this form for you or something like that, the sponsor should write his name there and the relationship as fiance/spouse.

i think with this, they wont even look your side if you av the capability of coming, they will capitalize on sponsor.

this is the way i see it, i might be wrong though.

That is not good enough, its 50/50 situation even as your fiance will be sponsoring you then the question becomes..do you have a strong tie to Nigeria?

Your tie to Nigeria is that business but already the agent has ruined it for you by making up false record about your financial situation.

Two options here: 1.Apply and come clean about the previous misleading info but you are likely to be refused.

2. Try another country where your finance can travel to meet you then apply for the UK later when your business has lived up to the lies the agent told in the application.

If you are planning to get married to your fiance and apply for spouse visa in future then be careful what you do else you will pay the price during spouse visa application.

Misrepresentation is a big thing when it comes to UKBA. It means you can’t be trusted so any documents or application you send in after will take longer than normal and success rate might not be promising.

However, the good thing is there’s still ways out.

If your fiancé have a permanent job, earns more than £24k a year and preferably live on his own in a 2 bed flat/house. Let him come to 9ja and marry you officially then put in an fresh application. However, due to ur last refusal ur case might take longer so just prepare ur mind.

What type of visa requirement is that?

Hello all.
Received our passports today. Visa granted for my son and I.
Even though I didn't get response to my questions earlier, I'll like to give this information to help any family applying together. You all don't have to pay for flexi. I booked a normal appointment for myself and booked flexi for my son. That enabled him do walk in appointment and our applications were consolidated at the VAC. So I spent 42k instead of 84k it would have cost both of us.

Hello Gurus in the house...Have anyone collected his or her passport from TSL with this information displaying when tracked...I lives in Delta state and wouldn't want to come to Lagos in vain..I did Biometric Dec 9th 2019...

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 4:32am On Jan 18, 2020
@aluta just hold on for TLS .. they will reach out to you when it’s time. It’s the same way many visa applicants here were complaining last week, if you followed up this week you will see most of them that complained last week have received their passports now.. so don’t waste your money and report to where you were not sent for..

The problem is not really how to fill the form, the problem is that people can't stop lying and using forged documents.

Hello everyone. I don't know if this question has been addressed before but I need a prompt answer. I am presently trying to book my appointment for biometrics and I got stuck in either to choose self service or assisted service. The Ijebu in me feels I should be able to scan documents myself( sincerely don't know how its done) than pay 11k plus. I am seeking for your experienced advice.

Hello everyone,

Please a quick one, I have been saving some amount every month from my salary for my trip to the UK. This amount varies according to bonus, 13th month, etc. so I do not have a certain amount I save.

The thing is that I save it into another account that I do not transact on and it is strictly inflows for my savings. Do you think using that account will fly? because I do not have any outflows just inflows from my salary account. In the transfer description, I always put 'Savings for summer trip' and I plan to use it alongside the main account I transfer from.

Also the amount in my savings now is higher than what I have in my main account or my monthly salary, but I've been saving for a long time for this trip. I most likely will not use all the funds there, i would probably use about 600k - 650k and my monthly salary is about 250k.

Please what do you think?

Happy weekend y'all. Trust that you are all hopeful for the best. I have come to feel your honest opinion as regards my previous case with British Commision and my chances now that am considering an application soon.

Here it goes:--------------
I applied for the UK student Visa twice in the year 2007 and 2008 respectively bit was denied on the two occasions.

I was first refused by the ECO on the ground that the bank statement I submitted in support of my application was not genuine as a results of checks he made with the bank and that producing such document undermined the credibility of my application and caused him doubt my true motivation for the visit.

He also went further to state that funding my education would impose additional burden on my sponsor which tallied that i was not able to meet the cost of the course, maintain and accomodate myself.. That was the reason for my first refusal in year 2007 and I used an agent.

SECOND REFUSAL HIGHLIGHT........

I applied in the year 2008 and I was refused on the following grounds:

The ECO said I already had a degree from 2006 and I failed to secure any employment and i failed to submit any evidence of my own financial circumstance. And that on overall assessment of the credibility of my application he wasn't satisfied the cost of the studies was proportionate to my economic circumstance. He also went further to state that " where false representations have been made or false document submitted(whether or not material to the application and whether or not to the applicant knowledge) or material facts have not been disclosed in relation to the application.. He said , as a result of Checks made on my sponsor proof of vehicle ownership certificates detailed in a document verification report that he was satisfied to a high degree of probability that the document was genuine. The production of such document undermined the credibility of my application and which further led him to doubt I would ultimately leave the UK at the end of my proposed course.

However, since the year 2008 of my last refusal, I never attempted reapplying. Now am considering a reapplication by end of the year but now as a visitor.
I have been to South Africa ,Kenya and Dubai on visit. Have a registered business with licence . I hope now I am good to go and all doubts at the British Embassy on my previous application history erased now since it after about 12/years now.

Thank you

Guys please does anyone here know if the processing time for priority student Visa at the Abuja VAC is really 5-7days? Because from what I am seeing here about the Ikeja and VI VACs, the timeline is almost the same as standard. It's taking 1month plus in some people's cases.
