Make them pass the bill first na.

And they have to address and harmonise how the Amotekun from each state will work together. Since each house of assembly will have to pass its bill setting it up, it must really address key area of how all the six Amotekuns will relate.

Hisbah from each state is stand alone and not one Hisbah for the entire north west or region.

Unfortunately the SW states are not good at working together even at conflict resolution. Even when Oyo and Osun were APC states they could not resolve the LAUTECH issue. And the conflict endures till today.

Who has established a police force?

People old enough will remember the menace OPC became in the early 2000s, members became terrors on the streets, ffw 2015, we saw what they did & groups like these are the foundation of Amotekun. The SW shld lobby the Legislature & the Executive for establishment of state Police.

That is why I'm asking, what the government has for this security outfit in the next 10 years. So they don't become a menace

My brother, forget your fears.
It's better we do this than to allow our people and land be run over by bandits. That can never be accepted.

Regarding the other part of your fear, don't worry. We'll handle it.
We'll even modernize it. Make it more reliable.
This is 2020. The 21st century.
It's time we move from our backward, premature, unreadable and unproductive ways of living as a Nigerian. We can't just continue living as MUMUs.

Amotekum has come to stay!
The rest, we'll build on it.

SMH. U guys are allergic to wisdom abi
All u typed above is what people said about Bakassi and OPC.
So what has been put in place to make amotekun any different

Dead on arrival. Amotekun is unlawful and illegal, period.
.

And killing and kidnapping innocent citizen is legal, also releasing killers and kidnappers back to the society is constitutional. I pray you get sense. And I pray that stipends you are being paid will bring you untimely death.

And u think dis group can stop dat?d reason civilian JTF is succeeding is because northerners are more cooperative n united dan southerners. We r traitors..
Hmm. They're more cooperated you said? I clap for you. No wonder they've been able to curb activities of cattle rustlers, boko haram, bandits and herdsmen in their region. I can see the massive development also in the north since the creation of Nigeria in spite of the huge allocation at their disposal wothbsame population figure..in fact, they are far more developed than the south west simply because they're more united in the north. I'm surprised you're comparing our level of unity down south with that of the north when it comes to leadership and achieving a common goal.

Let the fight continue, the hausa-fulani and their slaves. We are watching you guys since you said nobody should rule Nigeria except you guys. Confusion in the camp of the enemy of progress.

Yorubas are not noise makers like your potopoto people.

they ideate and action it immediately...

lets assume its ur people who incubated this idea, you will not execute it, u will be on the internet bullying everyone with it.

Fulanis your master masacre u in thousands in Enugu and delta, yet u didnt do anything...

Lets assume yorubas are slaves of fulanis. They setup a vigilante to checkmate their masters militias... are they really slaves?

but they killed ur people in thousands, all u can do is pray and fast.

Ife people killed many hausa/fulanis formenting trouble in Ile-Ife last year...what happened?

has fulani masters invaded ife? No...

Yorubas are not cowards like you people...

The only tribe the north fear is yorubas..they only can divide nigeria...not igbo...

Nobody is fearing anything. Constitution doesn't give powers to any region to form vigilante. Amotekun is unconstitutional and illegal

Besides if not that Nigerians are too stupidly short-sighted with extensive memory loss, haven't we been down this road before How did bakassi, opc vigilante etc end?? By the time the amotekun realise their power and turn on the citizens, it's the same people that will be crying for fg to save them

Is it constitutional to release murders and kidnappers back to the society ? The Federal government is not ready to do anything about this terrorist group. The sent the 1000 chad soldiers away because they are being ruthless on the terrorist. We all are aware how this insurgence has been happening daily since the chad army left. This whole thing is all for money. Let the Amotekun realize there power first. OPC have been around for more than 10 years and they don’t harass innocent citizens like your Nigerian army and Police do. Get sense bro, don’t allow your self to be fooled by all this stipends , this small money can cause you harm.

Let them try it first and we shall see who would go to court. For your ignorant mind, they have commenced operations already. Why have the army or the police not clashed with them still? You don't even have a coherent point. Have a nice day

it is only Yoruba people that can divide this country, please they should tread softly with their amotekun or what ever they call it.

I see no harm in the country dividing. We are already divided when you have the Chief of Army from the North, Police, Chief of air, defense, Custom, NPA and so on. People from the South are being marginalized already. It’s either we divide the country or we restructure. If you check private enterprise you hardly see and Hausa man there, they are not as employable has people from the South and they are now the ones are the realm of the affairs of a nation like Nigeria. They really don’t have the idea to take us out of this economical and security crisis.
