I personally would like to see the magic UCAP would do in the short term. People buy it generally for dividend but without some new result (4Q - which i predict would be flat), i dont see any significant upward movement short-term (2 - 3 weeks).
I dont really see Ucap going far too.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 2:04pm On Jan 20, 2020
Zee done with pull back.......reversing up
Same with GT, Fbnh, UBA

The kind of fund entering the banking stocks can make someone to fear shocked ..............hope those buying are long termers. grin
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Bomboclad: 2:05pm On Jan 20, 2020
On the other hand, like previosly stated, i believe FBNH would do well in the next 2 weeks, as well as FCMB and maybe ETI

However, pls do your analysis before any transaction.

ACCESS & UBA are behaving like old cargoes. Their bulls are getting tired, they had better done well this week or go down next week. No sentiments!

CEO selling his shares at this time is a wrong signal in my own opinion
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Bomboclad: 2:25pm On Jan 20, 2020
Indeed. I took precautionary measures this morning on Access. The chart isn't even in its favour, but all hope ain't lost.

Learn to sell in tranches.

At every high point, you are part of the sellers.

He sold less than 5% of his holdings, I don't see any big deal in that

Besides, what he did with the proceeds [buying the Kenyan bank or any other money making venture] is what matters in my opinion.
This is however not an endorsement of the inherent risk in his aggression for growing Access Bank.
Maybe because I prefer organic growth [like the GTBank model from where he emerged]. grin

Are you sure he used the money to buy a Kenyan bank, the Kenyan bank was bought by Access Bank

What if he invested his loot on the current FG bond which opened today and will close on Friday.

N550 million @ a yield of 14% will give him about N38.5 million every 6 months.

Conventional Wisdom - When a key insider sells his shares, focus on why he sold and not what the proceeds are for. Especially if a closed period was lifted to enable him/her sell. Remember, when good news is lurking round the corner, insiders buy.

That is how those guys are multiplying and growing money from different sources like stocks, bonds, real estate etc.

He made big money from Diamond Bank merger with Access, selling part of his loot to diversify is allowed
