On the other side I don't need to post my progress for many reasons, one of the reasons is I didn't come to NL to teach anyone , as my first post indicated, this is our first trial on 1 hectare. We have sought for knowledge from Okoroemeka to whiz2019 to even some persons that just started. Why I won't post progress now, proves that I'm not different from pistotita. The man himself has never posted any progress yet, be it video or pictures. I didn't call him out for that, then what hives him the audacity to say my farm has failed without even knowing me. I have given small scale profit making farmers enough opportunities. Even those who think they are not small scales are. For me, anything around $100,000 start up is a small scale. Look at this scenario below:

The manufacturer of a tomato cultivar gave the following:

Optimum conditions, and one is: day temperature 23C to 27C, but can tolerate up to 30C. If the optimum yield is 100 tons per hectare, it means that it will give such when temp is with this optimum range. And yield starts declining around 30C drastically. Tolerate means you can lose 20% to 90% yield. What happens when temperature is outside the optimum and the tolerated condition? Most will not even tell you because they do not bother to check since it is waste of time to them. They know flower abortion kicks in and it does not make sense to them.

So what happens when temperature climbs to 35 to 37C in most part of Nigeria from middle of January to July in SW? What do you do? How do you do it? The strategy you use here is different from that of the north and SS and SE. Presently I am working on SS which is even worse than SW. You start getting rain in Calabar from March, and this can be crazy till October. How do you handle such? No tomato farmer wants rain. No no no. They are enemies. We are talking of fast spread rate of diseases especial fungi and bacteria. And most likely humidity is high.

Do you really understand what you are battling with? Do you understand the hurdles to jump? And then, you just jump into tomato and start begging me to pilot you. And when one attends to you, the next thing is that you get angry because you cannot afford the real subsidized price to get it done. You are still carrying about the failing styles you got on nairaland; yet, you expect me to be a miracle worker. Lol.

Let us look at solutions;

Farmer A believes he can do it extremely cheap. He goes with N8,000 ($22.2) seed to cover 1 acre. Of course, the seeds are not bad. But they cannot just do well outside the optimum condition.

Farmer B decides to give optimum by providing shade to keep temp down. He uses same N8,000 ($22.2). In addition, he provides steel and shade which is over N15,000,000 ($41,700).

Farmer C decides to go extra mile to acquire different seeds. While farmer B above is able to jump into production immediately, this farmer must be patient for 1 year. He must test many seeds to see which can best adapt to his area. And such seeds likely are not available. He must import them. Still that is not a guarantee of success. At least 1 year pilot must be done (of course, I paid my price, and there is no need for me to go through one year again). Instead of N8,000 ($22) seeds, he spends $275 (seeds) plus $120 (DHL) plus permits which can be high. He spends above $395 (N142,500) just only on seed. Hehehehe. Tell these poor farmers, they start cursing you. Ha! Poverty will stick with them so long.

I am beginning to start writing the dollar value of my figures so those in abroad can understand the situation here.

Lets look at yield.

Optimum condition: 100 tons per ha. So for the size I use above, it is 40 tons which is 40,000kg. Using Nigerian market, the common basket we pack tomatoes inside for sales will take around 40kgtomatoes which gives approx 1,000 baskets. And we are targetting high price period in market when a basket is around min of N15,000 ($41.6) and can go up to N25,000 ($69.4). Let us take the minimum so thay we get sales of $41,600 for the cycle which is around 6 months. That is 15 million naira minimum. Just look at this. And these useless farmers want to use N50 000 ($138) to make sales ot $41 600 to $69,500. Can you imagine this? Are they okay?

Most of these farmers should be workers collecting salaries, but the system is bad. Employers do not pay farm workers cos they always fail, and nothing to pay workers. Workers are greedy too. And as soin as they think they have learned one of two things, they start stealing from their bosses to open their farms. And they are always caught. Those who succeeded in setting up end up like failing like their bosses. And these workers turned inexperienced farmers diverts into consultancy. These are the ones on NL deceiving you all.

I tell newbies to downsize like 6 times lower than the size above they usually want to do so that they can still afford what I recommend. But no they do not want to. Why? They do not believe they can make anything out of the size I recommend because the old way used to give above 90% yield loss. That 3 - 10% yield is success to them. And that is what they are strugtling to get. And since the climate is getting worse, 100% loss is the present result. And this is what they want me to prevent. And I have told them the honest truth that it is not advisable anymore to use old strategies of spending so low and getting 3% of optimum yield. One will be lucky to get it. And 4 to 6 months hard work on farm with nothing to show is discouraging.

With my strategy, the minmum is 50% optimum yield and I can move it to 100% in a space of 3 years.

Why 50% the first time? I do not want the farmer to spend too much. But the profit he makes from the first cycle, he diverts into acquiring more equipment to give optimum condition. And then his confidence and skill will be more than the first time. But these farmers cannot raise the fund. Yet they want me to do miracle. Why should I write detals of what they cannot afford here which I know they will start cursing me? Lol. But still I have given out concepts of what they need. But these useless farmers want me to tell them which seed in Nigeria I always buy that is good. They believe there are ones I buy here. I do not know how people can be stubborn and backward in thought. Very irritating. It nauseats me.

So, you see why I cannot work with these poor people. Poverty is cancer. They look like leprosy to me presently and I am not sorry to say it. Screw them all.

Yeah...if you have church workers who can volunteer their time and you pay them not use snd dumo them, count me in. You will be shocked what you can pull off. I am so excited with my new series in health section. You know we learn daily. Yesterday, I had a deep thought. Hmmmm!

One truth is: I am human. I can never be right everytime. There was a time, I defended inorganic farming passionately. And then, I started challenging the same people I defended years back. Hmmm. But when I realised that we all defend what we believe in and what pays our bill, I realised I need to change my strategy.

Ok. Thank God the whole drama is coming to an end soon in this agric secton, and I believe that the mod who is investigating the issue will arrive at the expected end soon. I am preparing some points to send over since I have been asked to do so.

Well, I want to briefly talk about doctors. Yeah, I respect them. But I keep saying that I thank God I am not one. Lol... I love the profession and one of my sibling is a very good doctor. But he confessed to me that I have made him a better doctor. Lol.

Guy, if you know what I know, you too will join the cause. I mean, technological advancement humans have made is good. But we need to be careful. Just like farmers who we complain about abusing chemicals and antibiotics for birds and animals, doctors do same. And they even make you pay more for sensitivity tests. Hahahahhahhahaha! Very funny.

Yeah....My recent thread talks about how you can avoid deadly diseases using science, and I am backing my ckaims up with scientific references.

On the thread, I have discussed how 2019 medicine Nobel Award winners have changed the game. They have helped us seriously to show doctors what we are telling them is somehow important, and they should pay more attention to it.

Well, guess what? I realise that doctors are not the ones to address. They are robots. They are like these farmers who just do "La Cram, La Pour". Hehehhehe. Only specialized and surgeons actually think. The rest are dummies. So, thank God the guys who control doctors are now listening. These guys are micro biologists, genetic researchers, and laboratory researchers.

But if you also just want to learn and cannot say the truth...hmmm. just want to learn....but you are all hostile to the one teaching you. Right from page 1. Even with good intention from me. Right from the beginning. Lol. Yet I managed to survive it all. Thats to show you that they can not defeat me. But the platform is messed up. And the owner is messed up too. We have seen so many unstable people leave Nairaland over the years. Some simply vanished when their folly caught up with them. Others are still around, but in limbo because the arguments they pasionately held on to have be shown to be fatally flawed.

Research the following monikers and see the noise they once made on Nairaland on causes they can no longer associate with.

These are monikers that I have had serious arguments with when they were feeding people with half truths and old plain lies. You are not the first I will disagree with on Nairaland however you are the first to use false scam accusation as a defense mechanism. That was very low of you.

As for you pistotita you want relevance to be able to drive your business, you are trying to create a notion that you are knowledgeable and make people come to you for agro business. Unfortunately you refuse to recognize that every field has professionals who are specialists in their field. You simply tried to discredit anyone that can point out your flaws and make people see that you are not all knowing.

You can not watch a 30 minute YouTube video on a subject or read a 5 page Google search report on a subject and hope to defeat professionals in every field outside your field.

Then you started the accusations, anyone who did not agree to your flawed argument was a scammer to you. You could not help yourself to acknowledge that you don't know everything. No one knows everything. And do not lie against people and accuse them falsely just to cover up your ignorance.

I've accepted the worst. It's been like this since August last year even offline to my business brand. Its ruined. I've gotten my. Mind ready for the worst. Also, the 187 plots (actually not up to 300) in Ajah which I have allocated out (by the way I am shocked with the way people grabbed them). And my hands are off the sites. I just made sure only people with cash got them cos the owners want to protect their land from grabbers. Please, do not make me regret it. N20k to N40k is enough to dig wells (boreholes) there. 3 inches gasoline inline pump is ok there. Please, make use he place for 12 months as the owners can start their building homes on the land anytime after 12 months. This is the agreement i made with them (they cannot start until after 12 months). Please, communicate the owners directly as I am not any intermediary. I have done my part by the grace of God.
