The point is that you can still buy US passport. Those going for birth are not the poorest of societies either.
would the poor even fathom giving birth in the US,talk more travelling there for same purpose? you're on point though

Shameless people running to other people's land, abandoning their God's given land to spoil.
The funniest thing is some dumbass Nigerian yeyebrities will start posting pictures on the social media, the minute they put to bed out there, as if they got a ticket to heaven.

Slave mentality undecided

A very good move. I wonder why a foreigner delivering his foreign child in America should automatically give the children citizenship.
A good move to stop the birth tourism but not enough.
There should be legislation in America to rule that all children born in America have the citizenship of their parents countries. So the baby is American only if the parent was already an American citizen. That makes sense.
Rid yourself of this kind of mindset. No be dem do you. All over the world there are at least 3 forms to become a citizen.

Even the Hebraic Apostle Paul in your christian bible was a Roman Citizen because he was born in Roman territory.

Long overdue...

It's just a matter of time before other nations take a cue from America...

No matter how far or fast you run, you can't escape your shadow!!!... Let's keep destroying the country directly or indirectly (through silence and tribalism)... We shall all eventually reap the consequences. No one will escape!!!

Chairman calm down. Develop which country? A country that is being ruled by a clueless old slowpoke? While the youths supposed leaders of tomorrow keeps licking the asses of old greedy politicians?

I bet if you had the money you’d give your child dual-citizenship.
Re: Birth Tourism: US Block Visas For Pregnant Women Visiting To Give Birth by sowilli: 10:56pm On Jan 23, 2020
I mentioned this some 2 years back. Nigerians are just delusional to think that the birth citizenship is a guarantee of better future. It will only get harder and it will show on records it was birth tourism. Being a citizen is no guarantee of a better future! Fix your country!

anyone with such a huge figure can be considered successful, US passport would just be a plus!
Not just a plus but a necessity as a Nigerian especially for your kid(s).

Must we migrate? Stay in Nigeria and make good money, then go visiting, that's one of the best life to live but many have been brainwashed.
Must you even "visit"

How about " make good money" in Nigeria

Then do your Tourism in Africa

There are 55 countries in Africa cheesy

If you visit one every year
You will not visit all till you die
Especially if you are above 35....

undecided

As for developing of Nigeria

Its not going to happen

Na America go suffer. It might take time but na dem go hear am if they sustain this. All the gragra dem dey do is because dollar is the base of most countries currency. If this can change dem go fall yakata but they will kill everyone before they allow that to happen. America owes trillions to China and Co. If dem like they should block everybody. There are better choices all over the place.

Nigeria cannot be fixed

Whether as a unit or divided into bits
The mentality in Nigeria and Africa is FVCKED

All you can do is to hustle and make some money to provide some cushion against the mess in the zoo.

That's just the fact

A country that believe so much in superstition
Does not encourage merit
And are wicked to the core
Cannot develpp

These countries should all stop this nonsense. Every baby should have its parents’ citizenship . It should have nothing to do with where the baby is born.
All the Hausa and Fulani mothers delivering their babies in Onitsha and Aba, are they Anambra citizens or Abians?
Something that you cannot accept even within the same country and you want it continued internationally. Trump should change all these mumu rules.

It does not make sense

Only very very few countries have such rules

The general norm is if at birth

One of your parents is a citizen OR permanent resident
That shows ties to the country

If the childdoes not meet this requirements

The law give the child extra hoops to jump before they get the citizenship
Especially the likes of France, Britain and the Netherlands

What you said is unrealistic
Re: Birth Tourism: US Block Visas For Pregnant Women Visiting To Give Birth by Nasir123(m): 11:08pm On Jan 23, 2020
StrikeBack:
Na wah oo

But wait oo

As a Nigerian, What do we get as benefit of being a citizen of this country
Nothing come out!
But it can't continue like that.

This still does not make sense

You are a citizen /national of a COUNTRY

Not state
So your analogy is wrong

Well, once u have a greencard, the road to citizenship isn't tough. The point is that u. s P. R is still for sale if you can afford it.

Anybody who vexes for this policy because you can no longer run out of your country like a homeless bastard to give birth in another mans land are part of the problem with your own country.

The US can’t accommodate the whole world. Economics 101; resources are scarce..Yes, even in AMERICA. Stay and develop your own countries. Nice one Trump.
The bolded is a STUPID comment to make

The govt did right to put measures to curb these things

But really
The comments you and your ilk are posting here

Is just laughable
