I dont think it's an issue ..... it could easily explained as items for a friend. What important is that you pack your luggage yourself and that you are sure and comfortable with what you are carrying. No drugs hidden anywhere. Once you are sure then it's ok

That is not a problem as long as you know that friend very well... I mean very very well...to avoid carrying bag and shoes that contain something else

You are going about this the wrong way, read the first page of this thread to have a basic but important idea about student visa process else you will make a costly mistake.

I think your school is in the best position to answer this question.

Contact them and tell them you want to negotiate a payment plan. If they don’t accept anything other than what is stated on their website, they will let you know.

Well according to Nigerian banking laws, u can’t access more than $4000 PTA/quarter
And $5000 BTA/quarter

But if u use aboki.. u can have as much as u like

I did my biometric and interview last week Monday. And I received a mail from Sheffield yesterday that a telephone interview will be conducted today by 9.30 am. I have been waiting but no call from them however, I later received a mail saying they've been trying to contact me but couldn't get me. I have provided alternate number but still no call.

Why could they be asking for another interview after the initial one?

What should I do since I have been waiting and no call?

Can I call them? And how do I do that since I have to pay through my debit card?

Someone should help a brother.

I’m a silent reader. I’m reaching out in regards to my sister. She left for the UK early this month and didn’t enroll at her university. She was given 2 years visa for a two years msc course. She said she intends working part time for a year and applying to a cheaper school with one year masters for the 2nd year of her visa.
She confessed to me that she lent her boyfriend her school fees and the man said he will pay her back monthly starting from next month.
She doesn’t have any money left with her that is why she hasn’t enrolled.
She doesn’t want me to tell our parents.
She said her boyfriend told her that she won’t be in trouble once she gets admitted to another school by year 2.
Kindly advise her.

Goodmorning nairalanders. Thank you all for all the updates and encouragement.
I am in a dilemma. My husband has HND and he wanted to go for masters in UK. He reached out to an agent and the agent told him that he can’t go for masters with HND. The agents told him not to worry and he collected 300k for the admission application.
He also collected additional 200k for visa processing asides from the visa application fee.
All documents used for visa application was gotten by my husband and they are genuine documents.
My husband later got to know that he forged Bsc certificates for him. He used that and the HND to get admission for my husband.
My husband got the visa and has paid tuition deposit.

My mind keeps telling me that he might get caught. I told him but he said there is nothing he can do now as he has already paid tuition deposit and there is no refund. He is to travel this April.
He said the agent told him that they won’t verify the certificates and if they want to, he should present only his HND.
I’m scared for my husband.

P.S: This is beginning to bring problems in my marriage. My husband said he didn’t know he used a fake certificate for him until when he was about going for biometrics when the agent mentioned it to him. My husband is an honest man who was deceived but now he can’t afford to forfeit £5,500.

You said your husband is resuming in April? When in April? Because you can only apply for Visa  3 months before your programme starts. So are you sure he is finding out after Visa grant or you just want to know before he goes ahead for Visa application?
