Hello guys!

I have been following this thread for sometime and I must Say that you all are doing a great job.

I registered yesterday, created an SA PayPal account and also passed the test. But I have a challenge, each time I click on a call to transcribe, I keep getting a '401 Error message' stating that I am not authorized. Somebody suggested that I clear my browser cache, I have done that already but I still keep on getting the error message.

What could be the problem please??
Thanks
You have to be fast while picking calls, you are seeing that message because someone else got to it before you

Hope this helps

Next time, login into your PayPal account with one IP. If you're using mtn, maintain that alone
If you're using Chrome, maintain that alone
If you're using your phone, maintain that alone
If it's PC, maintain that.

This my friend should be a sticky post.
Very important point!

I pray they don't find this thread and consequently ban Nigerians. So many rules flouted (both QA and PayPal) that should be shared secretly have been made public. May be for show-off of intelligence, I don't know.

This thread cannot be banned bcus everyone has and is still working to keep it clean. No PayPal rule is also being broken or flouted. grin There is no secrecy being leaked here abeg, QA no be CIA, PayPal no be FBI haha. CIDs should be masked as always, and anyone is entitled to show off whatever it is he or she wants to show off. Most do it cus it shows progress from where they started to where they are now. Some just do it to inspire others, others do it to simply show off superiority(which is very vain). But whatever works for anyone as long as no rules are broken, no adverts (crypto currency, betting etc) are placed on this thread then we'll be just fine.

Yes you can be self employed anywhere you are in the country transcribing for a living.

This thread will teach you everything you need to know to start up and the tools needed to deliver the goods.

You would need

1. A PC, tab or mobile phone
2. Affordable internet connection
3. Good head phones
4 Good command of English

Everything else can be learned on this thread. For those of us who have already started transcribing, we're welcome to share our ideas here so that this can be our online community.

To avoid this thread being banned, kindly let us adhere to all the rules of Nairaland.

Should we want to share screenshots, kindly let's block the company and important call info.

Also all forms of advertising is prohibited and will be reported.

Edited 9/7/2019 posted by samsard for newbies. Once you master these, the rest go easy

E.g
Rep: I was gonna, uhmmm, I was gonna tell ya about, about the new product we launched.
What they need: I was going to tell you about the new product we launched.

Punctuation: Hello, Philip. It's Emily calling from CLH Group. How're you doing today?
Cust: I'm fine, thank you. And how are you?

Longer calls will be more complex in terms of punctuation but for a start
A comma before and after a name in mid sentence. A comma before or after a name in salutation.
You're also allowed MINOR corrections for making clear transcripts.
Anyway, read through the FAQ and regularly Consult it while working at least till you acquaint yourself with it's detail

All full company names, PayPal email addresses and screenshots that include confidential company information must not be shared on this thread and will be reported

Please the PayPal for Nigeria does not support receiving money. Can you help me open one that can receive money. Thank you bro.

Go through the first page of this thread, I believe the link is right there, as well as the steps to take. Open Lesotho PayPal, if you like. I have been using Saudi Arabia PayPal and I haven't had any issue so far. So, the choice is yours.

Please how do you open Lesotho PayPal?

Good morning everyone. Please, I need your help.

I was removed from the qa-world site on Monday because of low call ratings.

How do I register again? I have read the FAQ and learned my mistakes and would like to try again.

Someone please help.

Good morning good people.
Am having issues with my Africard. Got it on Monday and tried to link but got a message that it was denied by issuing bank. I went to the bank to inquire and learnt that they have been unable to fund the card.

The lady at the customer care seems to be naive on this whole stuff. I was even telling her the Africard should be International High and she did not understand.

I don't know what the whole issue is. I have been to the bank thereafter and still no show.

What should I do?

Go to another branch?

Must the card be written International High?

What of now that it has been linked to my BVN, can I get another one?

Please help urgently. I need to resolve everything today cos I have bucks I need withdraw ASAP.

"Denied by issuing bank."
I had the exact issue yesterday after getting my card and trying to link the card. On my first attempt to link the card I was debited the #1050 but also got the msg Denied, card status preActive from uba. I made many more attempts, even changed my billing address, but same denied. I was sure it was an issue from uba so decided to go complain today. After giving it much thought, I decided to go confirm again if I actually Activated the card by changing the PIN. Because I wasn't so sure it was successful the first time I did it on collecting the card. So I went to the nearest uba bank atm and attempted to check my card balance with the new pin... ...naxo o, the machine say Invalid Pin. That's how I discovered the problem. After successfully changing the default Pin, on my first attempt to link the Card to my Paypal... ....guy na one hand e take enta, kpakam.

Happy weekend guys!

Is there a level or stage you will reach in QA-WORLD that'll make the reviewers to overlook your mistakes and always give you straight 5's?

I want to know because since last week I have been having 5's, not even a single 4 or 3 and my works get rated immediately I submit them.

I also noticed that the number tag of the reviewer is no longer there.

Is it that QA-WORLD is now less strict or what?
If we've been showered with 1s and 2s, we'll still complain so what exactly do we want?
You're right, though. I enjoyed straight 5s even on frustrating calls that I knew my all wasn't put. I had a 2 in between, though thanks to rater 30, got my redo and the 5s continued. It's either they've been lenient or we've been doing very well.
Enjoy grin
