You need Nigeria more than Nigeria needs you. What you bring to the rest of Nigeria can be replaced by the rest of Nigeria, For example, your exit from the spare parts business can be replaced by a Nigerian selling spare parts, if anything it will be an opportunity for Nigerians and empower a new set of Nigerian businessmen. What you currently gain from Nigeria i.e unfettered access to its market, you will not get anywhere else. You want to know the fate of the Ibo man once they leave Nigeria, just look at your brothers in Ghana that are not allowed to operate certain businesses.

I honestly wish Nigeria would call your bluff and let you people leave. for the good of all!! Your big business men will be allowed access but the irony is all you IPOBians who are the ones shouting but who are just menial workers will all be expelled and will find it difficult to make it in your new country of have access to jobs in Nigeria

Infact it is even better they aren't igbos. They are benins and migrated from Edo state. Let them start learning Benin language and start changing their names to Edo....Thats the right way to go..

they fought you for 3 years because of the Oil. Oil is no longer part of the south east...that is why they created states....to remove Oil from SE. In fact it was precisely because they created states to carve away the oil region from Ojukwus control that he hurriedly declared secession. .

If Nigeria should split up, the SS will not combine with SE they know how you people are. The most you can say is that the North tolerates the Ibos because they fear if the ibos go the SS will go too. But dont fool yourself, it's not because of any value Ibos add to Nigeria, I'm sure if you ask most Northerners they would gladly let the ibos go if it was only the ibos leaving, i.e if it didnt lead to any further disintegration. As far as we in the SW we are the most viable region, we dont care. being in Nigeria has slowed down our development...thanks to the adventures of the ibos in the 1960s and the repercusions on our political and fiscal structure.

These people know what you did to them during the civil war...they will never be a part of you. i hope you know that till today ibos properties seized in Rivers state have never been returned and the law authorising the seizure has not been repealed...it is still in the statute books. people have wised up to ibos.
