Tetehjewels:Where is the competence in this issue? Who would bear the additional cost? Did you think about that? You pay your freight to the shipping company with a clear destination on your shipping documents to Tin can seaport. The ship arrives Tin can and cannot discharge for four days and the shipping company moves the goods to one of the eastern seaports. Do you not know that would attract additional costs to the importer? Do you not know that the shipping companies would charge more especially as they would spend more fuel? What would happen to the goods in the event that the importer cannot meet up. Have you thought about the effect on cost of goods to the end user? Right in the presence of this government roads around Apapa went from bad to worse making business within and around the ports very difficult and much more expensive. Bonded terminals were created as an escape from port congestion, yet the terminals have been abandoned. Vessels cannot discharge when containers and goods previously discharged on the terminals cannot move out. What's happening to empty containers? Everywhere you see them not moved and they have taken up spaces. Look it is very good that eastern seaports can become functional, but the truth must be told that this government is very incompetent. In 16 years of the PDP, the roads to the seaports were not bad as they are today. As of 2015 trucks carrying 40ft containers charged within 70 - 90 k to reach designated areas in Lagos. Today in just four years of the APC as we speak trucks going to Ikeja carrying the same 40ft containers charge 1.2 million naira. You can go there yourself and check. Please leave PDP out of this. We voted APC cause we thought things would be better. If you still remain with the same story then there is a problem. We should not let ourselves be deceived especially when we are not properly informed. Ask for infornation before you make your judgement. The present leadership has a very long way to go to surpass the legacies of the PDP. |

You think one administration can solve all the problems you listed.. Look.. It is very obvious that buhari has failed in security.. But..what what did man is doing in terms of infrastructure is more than what PDP could ever do in 16 years.. If PDP worked the same rate bubu is working.. Trust me our mess won't be this much.. How can u expect buhari to fix all the roads in just 4 years.. Don't be stupid.. But at least.. He is fixing the 3 major highways in Nigeria Lagos Ibadan (the most busiest in West Africa) Abuja Kano Enugu to portharcourt. The 2nd Niger bride is under construction.. Do u think Nigeria has money like it used to where oil prices were very high.. Today oil prices have fallen by half.. Why do u think we went into recession.. Imagine the top oil producer in Africa not have a single working refinery... At least 20% of all Nigeria imports is petroleum products.. Isn't that shame full.. Today.. Buhari is massively rehabilitating the nation refinery.. Go to portharcourt and see for urself... All in 4 years.. That man is building Lagos Ibadan rail line, warri itakpe rail line.. And he has signed deal to construct Abuja to itakpe and two new deep sea port in the eastern region (warri and port Harcourt)....many of the contract awarded in his regime are being delivered... One of Nigeria biggest problem today.. Forget education and health... It is power (NEPA).. buhari signed a deal with Siemens(a reputable company that helped eygpt to overcome it power challenges) to deliver 10000 MW to Nigeria by 2023 ..and in this latest budgets.. 64 billion naija was allocated. Which I know he will deliver.. The same buhari is bringing back Nigeria biggest steel company (.ajaokuta steel mils in kogi) .let me just stop here .everything is on buhari head because he is reaping the failures of other government to deliver.. People say GEJ is better.. What did GEJ do for 9ja.. OBJ scammed us with a power deal.. Look buhari has failed in security.. But I tell you. Baba.. Is really trying in infrastructure.. The problem is that he is doing this with loans omoharry: |

My brother.. What you said about that road is a big lie... In Lagos the major route truck ply is Lagos Ibadan express road, apapa owonrosoki expressway.. Go to those roads and see what baba is doing.. Am not supporting bubu.. Let face it.. He is a failure in security.. But.. What that man is doing infrastructure is massive.. All those points you made are not to far from the truth but do you know that the cost of goods could reduce if the transport system out of the port is good.. This is why baba is building Lagos Ibadan rail line.. And he Is personally linking it directly to apapa which he will complete this year.. Couple this with what Julius Berger is doing at Lagos Ibadan rail line ..trust me bro.. There is light at the end of the tunnel.. PDP and it government is a big scam... All the problems we face in the maritime industry where there since 1999 but OBJ GEJ failed to fix it. The south east and south south are massive supporters of PDP yet PDP couldn't repair even a single port in their region.. Under this 30 billions buhari plans to borrow.. He wants the Chinese to build two deep sea port in.. Bonny island in rivers state and in warri...bro call a spade a spade.. What did PDP do. And remember all this is within 4 year of APC Cantonese: |
