Realteeyee123: P3400 is peculiar to 2008 - 2012 Accord V6 engines, applicable to Pilots & MDX using similar J35 engines, referred to as top cylinder sensor. The other two are for your catalysts, if blown, will cause increased fuel consumption, blocked, will sound the death knell for your engine. |

radautoworks: I'm truly grateful for your feedback, I do not take it for granted. I got a rewire to scan, though I was too distracted when he told me his result which he said pointed to the clutch pressure solenoids. On removal, the 4 nut was bad and the 6 nut had gum in its passage. Getting them swapped at the moment. Will test drive afterwards and revert. If positive, I will proceed to do drain and refill. 1 Like |

Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by theyongest: 5:52am On Jan 29, 2020 |
theyongest: Update. The swapping of the clutch pressure solenoids work for maybe a mile or 2. It started dropping after a couple more miles. Meaning it's an internal damage. Gear had been dropped for a tear-down and inspection to help us know what's wrong. Fingers are crossed. 1 Like |

Hi, Any idea where I can get Honda Type 1 coolant. Search all over Gudu but they are out of stock. What other brand can I use to top off the coolant? I have only used Honda OEM coolant. Thank you |

Pls genius in the house help me o cuz this my Honda accord V6 is driving me crazy. Last year December i notice my car was doing overheating a particular night i was coming from the office, i parked wait for the engine to cool down. Then i added water again, started the car and continue driving back home, all this while i didnt know one of the fan was not working. Then all of a sudden, the heat guage went up within 5minutes again when i continued the movement back home, that was when i checked and i discovered that two of the fan was not working, i was able to get a technician around the area i was and he connected the fan directly and it started blowing again. That was when overheating wahala started o, after that day drama, i noticed the each time i turn on the AC, the car begins to heat up, but once i put off the AC, it cools off. Now mechanic told me gasket, we changed the gasket 2 weeks ago, on Monday while using the AC, i discovered the same overheating issue, when i turn off the AC, the heater gauge cools, no overheating. I decided to take the car to another mechanic, who told me i should flush or change radiator which i preferred changing the the radiator completely. Yesterday, the radiator was changed. Still the problem persists yesterday night while yes riding the car, he said we should buy coolant which we did. We put the coolant in the radiator yesterday night. By this morning i decided to drive the car our to test it with the AC, within 20minutes, the overheating started again, i called mechanic, he said maybe the other mechanic that change the gasket bought fake gasket and maybe the gasket is flat that i will need to change the gasket. Gurus in the house help, pls kindly suggest solutions to me |

GAZZUZZ: I came across this oil from a very reputable wholesale lubricant seller. My 09 accord previous owner was using mobile 20w-50, can I use this one before finally switching and settling down to the original mobile1 synthetic 5w-20 recommended?
