@candybright @justwise please help
I doubt if you can do anything right now expect to withdraw which will also take some days. If you really want yo go, you can request to withdraw now and lose your visa fee and also pray the passport gets to you before the day you were supposed to apply for SA visa, sorry bro

They will only collect and scan ur documents if you pay for that service. It is about 10k. If you don’t pay for it, which most people don’t then you will do the upload by yourself(self upload). This must be done before you go for your biometrics.
Thank you for the quick reply, please will the documents be uploaded on UK visa and immigration website or TLS website and what of the biometrics will I also be responsible for the upload of that as well?

Pls when did you make your appointment. I did mine 28th January and the closest available date I got is 25th February
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by omopapa: 7:02am On Feb 01, 2020
Bros, just leave UK for now. Maybe try other countries like dubai, South Africa and other countries with easier immigration.

Concentrate on building ur travel history, business and ties to Nigeria then try again in a year or 2.

If u reapply again, it will be seen as desperation and there’s a very high chance of a third refusal, avoid it.

sorry for this, please dont try it again, and when you are ready dont use any agent if possible dont use agent at all.

come here and ask questions, we have good people here that will put u through free of charge.

kindly try other destinations so that uk wont blacklist u as desperate.

Pls help oo. There is a particular page that says an applicant should sign at the VAC but pple at TLS told me that i can only sign it if I uploaded at the center... I'm confused.

And the money I intended to spend is almost my 4 months salary. I hope that's ok?
well i dont know your disposable income.....but the will actually access you based on the information you supplied and d feasibility of the budget you presented for the trip.....

nevertheless, i have learnt from this forum that someone's budget mustn't be moe than 2x of someone's disposable income which have helped alot of visa applicants like us here.

since you are intending too....kindly budget 2x so that u wont shoot urself in the leg.

hello house.
I have a few questions.
I am a freelance graphic and web designer.

I have a friend in UK who is ready to be responsible for my visit as he is inviting me and taking up the responsibility
I NEED TO KNOW THE STEPS TO FOLLOW FOR A SUCCESSFUL APPLICATION. form, payment, documents submition etc

these are what I have now.
Change of name documents
passport with new name
2 landed properties with my old name
I am running my account as personal for my freelancing business.

NOTE: I was also denied in 2001 will that still be in thier records? that was my only application with them and there was no biometric that time

thank you.

It doesn’t matter what year you were refused, it stays there forever. People always misunderstand this, they don’t delete records but they won’t use it against you anymore. Only if court ordered the records to be deleted. E.g if someone is banned for 10yrs, it doesn’t mean after 10years they will delete it, no no no it’s gonna be there forever but they won’t refer to it while dealing with your application.

Hello good evening.

I'll like to visit UK in May/June and I'll like to know what's required asides from these:

- Letter of introduction from my company (I work as a data scientist in a bank)

- 5 month bank statement with a closing balance of ₦500k (will this be okay?, as I plan for it to be a week visit)

- Flight itinerary

- Hotel booking

Please what else will I need? I'm single and young ( I don't have any landed property) and I really just want to go on a vacation.

Extra information:
I have been rejected twice but I did my master's in the UK afterwards.

I think the 500k balance in your account is on the low side. You might want to wait until you save enough money because your propose trip will take all what you have in savings now. It's not impossible but it will be hard to get a UK Visa with 500k these days. Cost of visa application, Ticket, feeding, accommodation will cost you close to 400k.
It means you want to spend your entire savings for one week trip........it doesn't sound right my brother

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Enyimbamercedes: 10:42am On Feb 02, 2020
I was told to post my case here so here we go in a more details

I am a dual citizen of Nigeria and UK living and working in Nigeria. I got married last year and wanted my wife to travel with my sister.

She was rejected 4 times consecutively even as we tried to provide more details to address the previous rejection. However on every account, they shifted the post and rejected on another reason saying they did not believe she was a genuine visitor and will return to Nigeria even though I write a letter as sponsor saying I live and work in Nigeria.

She is currently working, at the time of the applications she had no family in the UK but recently her sister moved with her family under a work visa as a doctor and we have no kids yet.

Happy Sunday beautiful people .

Will it be wise to apply for a tourist visa to Manchester as a first timer and not London?

Do you think Eco officer will frown at this since London has more tourist attractions?

Please enlighten me as i am a bit confused.

Thank you.

My first UK visa in Nov was to Manchester. I was sceptical about Manchester but didn't want to stop in London just because I want to use London as my destination. I don't think it should be a problem, also mention tourist places in Manchester

Good day Gurus in the house please there is a question while filling the UK visa form

Q: Have you ever worked for any of the following types of organization?
Option: Government (including Public or Civil Administration and non-military compulsory national service)?

This is the option that caught my attention. Does this mean I should tick if I did NYSC. Please your advise is needed
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 1:29pm On Feb 02, 2020
Who was rejected? Ur wife? If yes.. I think visiting visa is not the correct visa for her since the ECOs know her husband is a British citizen... she would forever be lookd at as one with immigrant intentions.
then how does her sister come in? You want to shift her to her sister to invite? Don’t try it. She has been denied 4 times and all of a sudden u now want to change for her sister to invite her.. do you think the rest of her details are erased?

Kindly advise the correct visa. Definitely not a spouse visa because I do not live there or is it possible to apply for this?

There is nothing wrong with your wife visiting the UK, the problem could be lack of convincing documents.

Can you list documents you people submitted for the latest application? How much does she earn? Did the sister send any document to support her application?

Hi good people here.
I have less than 2 years on my visa (tier 2), planning to renew though. Can I apply for 2 years visitor visa for my mum? She applied for the 6 months last year and was granted. Is it advisable to go for the 2 years or just do 6 months?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237:
@Enyimbamercedes In my opinion... the hurdle’s that they don’t believe her intentions are true, that she’s just a tourist ... your burden is to satisfy that she doesn’t have immigrant intent.. I might be wrong...
(Why I brought up the type of visa might be wrong is bcus I strongly feel her intentions are doubted by the ECOS.. asin which kain tourist-ing be this when ur husband is a citizen)
Besides am I correct that it’s now she wants to use her sister to invite her?? Past four(4) applications were hotel bookings yes?
Again I could be wrong!

No I just mentioned that recently her sister moved there but she does not intend to use her sister. Hotel booking were there. The trip was fully sponsored. My question is why would she want to stay behind when I am here! I know it is an uphill task convincing them but what happens when we have kids who will have full rights to live there but they keep refusing their mum?

At the time of the 4 applications her sister had not moved to the UK. We pretty much submitted all documents but she wasn’t also working at the time. She is working now and earning 199,760k. I also give her a monthly allowance of 100k. She hasn’t put in an application since she started work cos I don’t want any more rejections.
