1.Can u get an introduction letter from ur company addressed to the embassy stating all these things u said u are entitled to. It will help ur case evenif u fill a low amount as monthly expenses.. as u rightly said here that u are entitled to 3 square meals and monthly incentives. U also said u have daily tils so u re not touching ur salary. Let the letter say all this and more if possible
2.The account statement will show that its ur money if it reflects origin of the funds so u dnt have to do any other extraordinary thing as you are asking. Once in a while you can make purchases from the account if u want o show outflow as well.
3.Also Just check documents some ppl submitted.. have a watertight application and u wont be denied
Okay thank you very much boss

Good balances but my take below

1. Why present a treasury bill maturing at the expiration of your expected 6 month's visa? ECO wants to see enough money available for your trip and after it not just what you have untouchable.

2. You said you earn N4.8million as self employed, do you pay yourself a fixed monthly amount that can be matched up to that total by viewing your bank statement?

3. Your joint account balance with your sister without a letter from her ceding the amount therein for your vacation shows that you don't have 100% access to the funds therein for your sole use.

4. Moving funds from your business account to your mutual fund account does not show the funds is available for your personal use. Don't mix up your business account/funds with private funds. Rather you should pay yourself a fixed amount monthly from your business profit and move it to your mutual funds account then present your personal account showing inflow of fixed 'salary' and outflow to your mutual funds.

5. Did you take into consideration your budget for the trip? Your disposable income monthly should be able to fund your trip not more than two months of its total value.

I hope this helps.

Gurus in the house, please help me to review the refusal letter below because I believed the Eco didn't do his /her job carefully.. I have a treasury bill that worh more than £30,000 that will matured even after expiration of the 6months visa with evidence attach and majority of the money I received is sent to my mutual fund account with evidence of the mutual fund account statement. I submitted four banks statement (1) my personal bank statement with closing balance of #139,000 (2) my joint account with my sister that has been in existence since past 6years with closing balance #580,000 and fixed deposit of #600,000 (3) my business account with a closing balance of #350,000 with regular inflow of cash and regular out flow to my mutual fund account or for running of business (4) my savings account which I intend to use for the trip with a closing balance of #750,000 ,(5) my mutual fund account with a closing balance of #2,000,000. To be honest I feel I was robe of my visa fee. Please house I need your kind suggestion.

Business / investment account and the treasury bill certificate are good to support visa application. This can be part of your economy ties. But they are not fund that are readily available. They are documents to prove your economy ties.

The only fund that are available in your case are the 139k in your personal account and that of 750k in your savings account.

You have good documents but your packaging is the main issue

Thanks for your response and concern, the treasury bill is to convince the ECO that I have a tie, also with evidence of my landed properties and son birth certificate.
I explain in my cover letter were I got the funds for my trip. I do pay my self #120,000 to my savings account as money for my upkeep. While the rest of the money is sent to mutual fund account..My kind of business is hospitality business , any money that comes in is almost my profit outside paying staff, tax and running of the business.
My budget for the trip was £1100 , while my disposable income #280,000. I was told in the refusal letter that I don't have right to appeal or administrative reveal because I would like to make a complain to appropriate body..my projected travelling date suppose is 10-19 which I thought was 10 days but the eco in the refusal letter said 9days so I don't know who is correct between the eco and myself. Please advise me on what to do.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by bigtt76(f): 11:28am On Feb 04, 2020
The prospect of you winning the appeal is very slim (assuming you were given the option to) and my reasons (personal opinion) below

1. Your budget of £1100 is too high
2. None of the bank accounts you showed had enough funds to cover this save for the joint account with your sister which you did not provide proof of having the funds available solely for your use
3. Paying yourself N120k monthly and your disposable income per month is N280k does not add up here. Where's the balance of N160K coming from? Note that your disposable income is what is left of your main salary after all expenses has been met.

Advice to you is re-apply in 6 months time and during that time, get your financials sorted out.

Good afternoon gurus in the house,

So I have an appointment with the TLS on thursday, next week. This is my first time applying for a visa anywhere and I'm a bit nervous. My elder sister (a uk citizen) who's graduating next month sent me an invite and also included an invitation by coventry University with other documents.

I'm employed in Nigeria and my bank statement has a closing balance of about 300k. Though my sister also sent her bank statement as it's stated she will be financing my trip in my application. I'm kind of nervous and don't know what to expect.

Dont be nervous bro. No interview.
They will just ask for your name and date of birth loked into the camera.

Also add your bank statement, employment letter, letter from employer stating your travel plans when you are travelling and when you are returning back and any other home tie evidence e g land documents, car, marriage cert if married.

You will surely get the visa if you follow the advice.

Hello House, Please i have a consistent income of 300k per month and my total planned expense for my Uk trip is 600k. So can I put 50k as my expense monthly so my disposable income will be 250k per month, so that after two months of saving it will almost cover my trip expense figure which is 500k. Again my question is, can I put 50k as expense whereas I’m gaining 300k as self employed.

And also I’m sponsoring myself through my personal bank statement, would that be proof enough cause since I’m self employed do you think it’s necessary I submit my company bank statement and if so how much should at least be in it ?

Good evening everyone, please I need advice from the experienced heads in the house as I am preparing my application for UK visitors Visa. I am a software developer (I have a day job), but in my statement, there are couple of transactions (about 200k * 2 from 2 different clients) from freelancing applications that I do, do I need to indicate I have another source of Income? and If I do obviously it is not consistent (just jobs I get once in a while). how do I prove that 400k or so that was paid in November last year and January this year?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by bigtt76(f): 3:08pm On Feb 04, 2020
You can't save just two months disposable income and immediately go apply because of the you believe it would cover the projected expense of N500K. You need to save 6 months and submit as part of your application bank statement covering 6 months. The reason for this is to convince the ECO that you have a steady job & income. The N300k from self employment ....is this your profit or turnover from sales? Note also that once you state N50 as your living cost, don't make the mistake of adding your wife and kids or parents as your dependents oooo #JustSaying cheesy

Please House, Can a Church be a full sponsor for one of their workers for an exam in the UK?

If yes, What documents are needed from the Church?

Also, will the applicants bank statement be a problem if there are some irregularities in the account and how many months bank statement does the applicant need to submit?

Not for a church activity?? But for a person’s exams.. hmmm.. the hurdle might be to convince the ECO of what benefit the exam is to the Church that they would fully sponsor an exam for you... you can try
Your question about bank statement.. ofcourse if there are irregularities that you know and that u feel could damage your application, you should wait and not rush to apply

Hello guys,

Please I need urgent reply on this, for someone who earns 300k monthly with expenses of 40k leaving them with disposable income of about 260k, how shld they fill the attached form.

The person’s dad is supporting the trip with say about 650k.

The questions that says

“How much money are you personally planning to spend on your visit to the UK?” and the part that says

“How much money will they be paying towards your visit?” How much do u advise they fill in there.

How do u suggest that they fill these parts.

Thank you

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 8:00pm On Feb 04, 2020
Why 650k support? Does the individual have any money of their own cause that wud be better..
Well fill it out exactly the way the question is... they are straight forward questions? Keep the budget within 2 times disposable income.. this 650k hmmmmmmmmmm

Yes if you going to UK for exam or course in Theology. The exam or course must be related to pastoral duty.

But it is NO NO if you are going for something that doesn't have anything to do with church business

Getting the new Nigerian passport is much harder than getting a replacement visa.
