I think it's a legit question. With the spate of visa denials, applying a lot earlier makes sense just in case a person is bounced at the first attempt.

So 4 months in advance is not enough ? ....

Your chances are super slim,
you are also not planning well.

Ass is 2 years program same as masters.

Since you already have Bsc. Apply straight for masters in your computer course. So many schools in US (my school for example) accept applicants from any undergraduate background into masters, you will just have to take few undergraduate pre-requisites.

Telling the VO that you already have a degree is a straight disqualification to your ASS, it's like graduating from a university and advancing to enroll to an OND in polytechnic
What’s the name of your school please??

Are Law grads required to take GRE for graduate program at US universities?

Hi guys, To the admitted or current University of Delaware students/hopefuls, I will like to ask how their funding comes?

Do they send it after admission decisions or it comes together with the admission?

GC isn't responding to mails.

You will be required to take the Law School admission test (LSAT) not the GRE.

Good Evening, House

I have a quick question: is it advisable to pay a deposit to the uni before visa interview? I am still in the application process, and my university has informed me that it has no issues receiving deposit before resumption (and it's refund system is okay).

I have no issues with finances, and my mother is my sponsor, but I do not have a GA or Scholarship offer. I am worried that this will put the V.O off.; that's why I am thinking of paying a deposit, to show my intention to really study.

Even if you have the finances, your focus should be on providing convincing answers during your visa interview on how you plan to fund your studies, and why you need the degree. These are what would show your intent to study Baba.

Check UNT, GRE is not required if you have work experience and the fees is quite affordable without funding. The school offers lot of scholarship when you admitted.

Hello house, please I have a question. I have a sister in Corpus Christi, she has her green card. And the school I was admitted to is also in Corpus Christi. I wanted to know if including her in my visa application affects my chances of getting an approval.

It's best to be truthful ..... if you dont include her and later she wants to file for you but not including her causes issues then what

Got a question.

Apart from getting your visa approved, who determine or what determines when you can leave the country. Your I-20? Or you? Or the VO?

Let me try and make an instance.

Assuming you are supposed to resume by fall 2020 (September) and you get your visa approved by March. Can you leave by April for instance. (Note. you have someone or somewhere to stay until resumption).

Who determines when you leave the country?

Thanks

I was extremely shocked when Toledo grad coord congratulated me on my admission into their program but strongly encouraged me to retake GRE/GMAT to get funding... that I should report it as soon as possible... saying that funding decision would be made in early April embarassed

Ruefully shaking my head as I type... two apps two admits... At BGSU, the second sch I applied to, the type of funding I’d get is still very unclear... tho the response of the grad coord is almost an assurance that I’d get funding...

In view of this uncertainty that revolves around my apps, I’ll like to add one more app... so I humbly seek suggestion from seniors on here...

Profile:
ND 4.51/5.0 Business Studies
BSC: 4.24/5.0 Business Administration
GRE: 301 (Verbal 144 Quant 157)
Intending course: Business Analytics or Operation Management
MS preferably
I’m afraid my profile especially GRE score is not good enough for PhD

I’ll appreciate your suggestions

Congrats on your admission.

It's highly unlikely you will be issued a visa (F1) in April for September admission, it's outside of the 120 days window and if you did, F1 Visa rules limit your entry to 30 days before your school start date. Anything outside of the 30 days before start date is enforced by immigration at Port of entry. (Denial of entry/Deportation).

Your i20 determines when you can leave. You can only leave within 30days before the program start date stated on your i20. If you leave earlier than that, you will be sent back at US port of entry.

The LSAT is a must for admission into a Law school in the USA, whether funding or not.

I really do not think you can get fully funded for Law degree in the US. You can get some form of scholarship that can aid with offsetting part of your tuition.
