‘I was treated worse than a slave in Lebanon’ https://thenationonlineng.net/i-was-treated-worse-than-a-slave-in-lebanon-says-nigerian-woman/ This story is one of the many stories /tales of slavery, hardship, cruelty and sometimes death suffered by many African women that decided to look out of the shore of their country for a better paying job facilitated by evil agent around their country. What they experienced in the hands of these Arab people including these so called Lebanese is a story for another day. Please read this story by a Nigerian who is also a victim of the same cruelty from the so called Arab people. Please, Nigerians should be mindful of accepting job from Arab countries, except you are going on a professional ground, at least, then the job offer will come directly from an established company or a medical center or hospital. Pls be warned. These people are mean and evil. While you go there with the mind that you are going to a job they see you as a slave that has been bought and has come to serve them like a slave. So many have died and some maimed and thier organs taken from them..other were raped and beaten to submission. The country will not come to your rescue because before this society, your boss owns you and you cannot leave until he releases you.You can will be imprisoned or killed without question for fighting to go back home. 13 Likes 4 Shares

They perpetuate evil witholding Slave Trader & Co! “He is very popular at the airport. All the people working there know him. Even the officers who wanted to ask for money before asked me to go when the man he handed me over to, told them I was from him. So, I did not suspect anything was wrong until I arrived Lebanon and saw myself in a market." Help reveal this slave trader please. 22 Likes 2 Shares

Thank God that she got out of there in one piece. The years is 2020, and this type of evil is still taking place. Imagine, Lebanon, why? Why is it, that all the places that have historical place to visit outside of our continent are turning into failed states. I wont be going anywhere near that place. Thanks to NAPTIP for acting swiftly in coming to her rescue. In this day and age. Our government should make certain that the culprits spend a lengthy amount of time locked away. 23 Likes 5 Shares |

It saddens me that those useless mofos from Lebanon will come to Nigeria and be treated like kings and queens, with official cars and police escort. If only you know how fncked up they're back home, you will never regard them one-bit anywhere you see them or hear about them or their country. In so many aspects, Nigeria is by far better than some of these shitty countries. 104 Likes 4 Shares |

We all can call Nigeria what POTUS called her, but we should know that living in Nigeria is way better than migrating to most countries; except you're in Red Flagged Zone. It is well even by the well. 3 Likes |

Human trafficking is bad and should be condemned in the strongest terms. Though we know that this thingy is institutionalized and its root runs deep into the system. Nigerians, esp ladies going to take up phantom jobs in the middle east and north africa should know that they're going into modern day slavery (house help) or outright prostitution, both of which would definitely involve sexual assault. She brought the girl to me and I asked her if she was married or have children? She said no then I asked her if she wants to work as a house help in Lebanon and she said yes that she’ll go. I told her I’ll give her $200 monthly. The above is not surprising, the hope of making a better a life makes many deny their family, its not new, I even see nigerians do it in the western world 1 Like |

I know the country is hard but why will she accept a job of $200/month in the first place. I feel sad for her, thank Goodness she's free now. 11 Likes |

The difference between her slavery and some of the people who will comment here are not so different. Except maybe one is harder or more inhumane |

Some idiots with the lowest kind of self esteem and most likely trump supporters will soon come here to tell you how it is better to be a slave in Lebanon than to be a Nigerian. They are clueless dolts, Just ignore them. 16 Likes 2 Shares |

Arabs hates blacks. Period The first among the pale skin to enslave Africans hundred of years begore the europeans came. They took the whole of north africa, wiped off the native black people there systematically. Till date they arabs still sell, buy, share and resell among themselves blacks in their native lands in places like sudan, maurtania, chad occupied by blacks arabs. Their offsprings counterpart, the fulani arab are systematically doing the same now... all because the british encaged animals with human beings. The british and lugard's generation shall never know peace. Blacks should wake up and dereligionise themselves from both terror christianity and evil islam been the worse. He will just bribe his way out. Justice for the poor in Nigeria doesn't exist. For the rich, the favourable end of the law is 10 for 10kobo. Upon all these reports, 50 more women will be queuing to travel to that same country. Nigerians no dey hear word. 2 Likes |
