Sounds great. The rate is fair I guess... Seems fixed deposit will do the trick. Although I bank with UBA / Access mainly. Hopefully, when I check-in to the bank today I can get a rate of 4.5% higher. Fingers crossed
Unity Bank gives 5.5% for 500k and above

If someone invest N5million how much will the person get in 48 hours?

Guy, I pity you. It is better you give your money to charity and your parents than give it to a guy who promised to double your money in 48 hours. You go still learn by force

Invest in real economy.Imagine folks that have 5 keke napep on the streets of Lagos. That's at least 5 unemployed people out of the streets and over 3 million naira worth of investments in Nigerian economy at 700k per each KEKE.All this gone down the drain over poor govt policy but the same govt wants you stop being greedy with TB and start putting your money in an economy that's so unstable

You're more likely to be poor if your parents were poor and you're more likely to be rich or middle class if your parents were rich.

It takes a lot of work to move up socially. But keep working hard, my friend, it is possible.

Upward social mobility is hard, but you can do it.

If your parents are struggling financially and professionally, don't look to them for wisdom in both areas.

Find mentors in books and outside your home. It's easier to move up socially when you've seen someone living the life you want.

Learn from books and mentors.

One of my professional mentor was an uncle who rose to become a director at Exxon Mobil.

He taught me that I could become anything I wanted if I was willing to work harder than anyone else.

Attention!

If you have not signed up for Investdata buy and sell signal setup, don’t delay. We have just added another risk management feature and new stocks of most revered traders and investors in corporate Nigeria to our watchlist. These stocks are with double potentials.

To become a member, send ‘YES’ or ‘STOCKS’ to the phone numbers below. Take advantage of this service to buy right and sell right at the current market recovery ahead of full-year earnings reporting season portfolio reshuffling and repositioning as we await an economic reform policy to stimulate and re-track the economy again

Market Outlook
We expect a change in trend, despite the likely continuation of the mixed intraday movement in the midst of profit-taking, with investors buying in the dip ahead of dividend news and declaration. This is also against the backdrop of the fact that capital wave in the financial market may persist in the midst of the unstable economic outlook for 2020.

Also, investors and traders are positioning in anticipation of the 2019 full-year earnings reports, amidst the changing sentiments in the hope of improved liquidity and positive economic indices which may reverse the current trend.
We see investors focusing on the upcoming of the full-year earnings season, targeting companies with strong potential to grow their dividend on the strength of their earnings capacity.

Again, the current undervalued state of the market offers investors opportunities to position for the short, medium and long-term, which is why investors should target fundamentally sound, and dividend-paying stocks for possible capital appreciation in the New Year.

This was noted in the 10 golden stocks and trading ideas for 2020, as discussed extensively during the Investdata 2020 Traders & Investors Summit held in Lagos last December.
Also, traders and investors need to change their strategies, because of the NSE’s pricing methodology, the CBN directives and their impact on the economy in the nearest future.

Meanwhile, the Investdata team welcomes you to a bullish 2020. The home study packs of Invest 2020 Opportunities and Trade Ideas Summit containing the 10 Golden Stocks for 2020 are available. To obtain your pack send ‘Yes’ or ‘Stock’ to 08028164085, 08032055467, 08111811223 now.

Am trying hard to refrain from saying "it's a lie". My success story comes from my early exposure to the streets. The reverse I'd rather the case. Rich kids rarely succeeds, 90% of the Benjamin's are from poor background. Awolowo grandson was busy looking for few millions months back. The abiolas, iwuanyanwu and their likes, first generation will still meet up the stored wealth of it was enormous like the abachas that still keep coming, certainly by second generation it's squandered because they failed to learn the art of making money simply because they were already in the comfort zone. The poor in the other hand strives to break even at all cost including his life. As I speak, I owe my kids only their education and it's the reason am not into landed property, don't want to give them that feeling that everything is on place for them to flex rather than hustling through strife to break even. If my parents were rich, I would have died by now or been useless. My motivation was the poverty staring at me every day, I knew I can't live that life for long.

Good afternoon, Becuase of the plummeted rate of Treasury Bills I have been looking for an alternate investment so I approached Investment One.

I registered on investment one and before I transferred money I asked the person assigned to me if there were any problems with my account so that when I transfer the account will be opened swiftly, he said no problem, after I transferred he started saying that I needed to send a valid utility bill which we resolved, he then said he will open the account which was 2 days ago, I called yesterday he said he will open the account before the close of work yesterday, I called today, he refused to pick and cut my call, is this how Investment One works, right now I am no longer interested in investing with a company that cannot keep to their word and plays hanky panky with my money, I have instructed him via text that I want my money back

Please house, can you advise me on a means or method which I can retrieve my money speedily, do I need to get a lawyer? Do I need to write to SEC?

Thanks for your swift response

Sorry to derail!

Please financial Experts in the House, I need your help on PAYE tax.
Can Personal Income Tax for a contract worker who is earning monthly but his contract duration is less than one year be calculated on pro rata basis? Would it not be unfair to multiply someone who earns like #700k monthly (for a 6 months contract) by 12 i.e pa and use the Personal income Template outlined by the FIRS? Seeing the person is earning per contract duration and not annually, can his PAYE be calculated based on gross earnings for the contract duration? Please I need ur inputs .

Politicians, corrupt civil servants or fraudulent businessmen can't have children who are financially savvy.

Rich people who grew their businesses till it became big empires, who also inculcated the right values and attitudes in their children will usually have children who will do well coupled with the head start which the children have gotten.

Davido the musician is doing very not because of his creativity but because his hardwork and head start which he has over his colleagues

that's number one sign of incompetence. A sign that you should run with your money if it's not too late already. Imagine ending a customer's call. This one's will call police to come pick u up when u complain about your money. No need to involve lawyers or anything. Once its Monday go to their office, pack your money and run. I hate nonsense

I have always studied the saying “the rich gets richer” and have found it to be true most of the time. It’s easier for the Rich kids to succeed than poor kids. All they they is just commitment while the poor succeed by chance and luck!
