Now that the Lagos state Government have banned the operations of Okada and Keke, there is a high demand for transportation using minibuses. I live in a densely populated part of Lagos and i see how people trek every blessed day because the available minibuses cannot meet the demand. I am seriously considering beginning a hire purchase business model with minibuses, but there are pressures from different quarters that the okada-keke ban be lifted so i want to give it a few months to know the exact state of things. Nonetheless, let us consider brainstorming the various aspects of this business. Thanks C505 Oluwaleokey |

ahiboilandgas: While Davido colleagues were struggling to have their first N100 million about 10 years ago. Davido already has a head start because he has that to his name. While his colleagues will use part of their new found N100 million to build a befitting house for their parents , settle their parents and extended family. Davido does not have to stress himself with that because his parents already have befitting houses, his siblings are doing well because their parents can afford to provide the good things of life for them, his cousins, aunts, uncle's and extended family are equally okay and won't be a financial burden on him. Could you advise how someone could get reliable drivers, it is very difficult to get trusted drivers to take charge of these vehicles, I have these buses in stock and want to put them on the road but how to go about it seems a challenge, i buy them directly so the costs is good, I heard good drivers account for up to N50k per week. I have 11 pieces currently and another 14 very shortly. odimbannamdi:

I thought about something, since all rates are falling, quite a good number of companies would want to take advantage by rolling out commercial papers at a reasonable rate above Tbills current rate. Can anyone assist with ongoing commercial paper auctions 1 Like |

TotoNaRubber:do what Dangote did: Employ graduates only. So go through a standard employment process just like company employing company drivers. That process removes touts, and gives you people you can hold their degrees and give rules and they will follow. 8 Likes |
