Why not choke the living breathe out of them your tyranny. Oh. Does this mean the ticketing they receive by foot soldiers of a slavist minded entity doesn't get transmitted to the government's coffers? I'm sure FIRS is nohing but an absolute joke. Upon the resumption of this administration, this same organ said it had recorded 20% increment in it's revenues after its first and second year in it's annual memo only for me to check and find that the figures was the exact figure been remitted since 2010-2012. I know doubters will want to fold their fists. Before you engage me in any e-fights, go cross check the data. It's public. You have all sorts of dodgy uniform men seizing their goods beating them up, you make their lives difficult yet you want to increase taxes. There's tax for everything increasing rapidly thesedays, Phone call and data tax , cash flow tax, food consumption tax whatever that means I don't know. Yet organizations like Dangote keep having massive financial figures and I'm yet to see robust tax payments from high income organizations. What a nation. What an administration. We the truth Sayers won't let this fraud slide without a challenge. It's high time we have forensic audits published like the federation account monthly. And it must be carried out by independent accounting firms We don't want more tarrifs charged to the demerit of Nigerians first, we want openess and accountability for the ones been collected first. |

Leave artisans and street traders alone. Tax families that have more than 2 children, churches and mosques instead. Artisans and street traders need support and encouragement to survive the economic hardship we're experiencing in this country and not more tax. They're already being taxed heavily by the local governments. |

Federal government supposed to be taxing ghosts too. We have so many cemeteries in Nigeria full of ghosts walking around at night and they are not paying or contributing to Nigeria. They should be taxed or ban |

Nigerians are quite funny. Nigerians would speak all the English on social media on why 30k min wage is very necessary and why 19,800 is too small but do very little or nothing to increase the countrys income. Nigerians would be the ones asking for capital project across the country knowing fully well more than 70% of our income is spent on recurrent expenditure but would still scream when the govt decides to collect loan to fund those capital projects. Oil price today remains below par to service the demands of Nigeria but Nigerians won't factor in every necessary stakes in the economy before making decisions, they are only concerned about what affects them, how they can collect from govt and bring nothing in return. Yes politicians are corrupt and bad but Nigerians are worst. Only a weed smoker can rule this country cos every body is mad that's why yaradua is seen as the best president...

Our leaders no dey plan at all. They're only interested in their pockets. Boris Johnson just brought UK's zero emissions deadline close 2035 and that's 15 years from now. Yet our govt isn't thinking of a future without oil revenue.Mismanagement in every sector. |
