Federal government supposed to be taxing ghosts too.

We have so many cemeteries in Nigeria full of ghosts walking around at night and they are not paying or contributing to Nigeria.

They should be taxed or ban

It's time to start taxing herdsmen, bandits and bokoharam too. Revenue must be generated from all means.

Someone somehow avoided crime or street begging and choose to go under the scorching sun on a daily basis to sell menial stuff to keep body and soul together. Oga, you stay in your air-conditioned office, planning how to make his life more miserable. Continue angry

These are guys are simply drawing the revolution near.

This Man is a devil.
APC is hell.
Buhari is a devil's representative.

Their evil plan against this nation will backfire. They will be judged by Karma and their paths will be dark and slippery.

Why would they plan? Do they see any future for their grandkids in Nigeria? Their kids already have sumptuous houses in UK, UAE, USA and other places where things work.

Do they even see Nigeria surviving as an entity beyond a few years? The know the time bomb that Nigeria is. The Sultan of Sokoto already warned about Almajiri time bomb.

It's just that theh don't care about the people
That's all.

Ever since i heard buhari borrowing, yet no infracstructure to show forth. I knew this was going to be the end game....

Now their's increament in tax, not cause they want to use it for development. But they are just looking for a way to pay back the debt...

So that you people would take elections seriously.

When next almajiris are coming out in millions to vote another idiot because of ethno religious reasons , they would be countered by millions from the south that don't want to suffer.

In his 2nd paragraph, he said something about them having a right to demand things from the government.

We that have been paying for over 10yrs, what do we have to show for it? The roads are hellish, power supply is still epileptic, no potable water supply, unemployment rate is at an all time etc

Ridiculous set of people
Re: Mohammed Nami: Tax Administrators Should Tax Traders, Artisans, Others by CSTR2: 7:22pm On Feb 07, 2020
Very soon, dual citizens abroad would start paying taxes to Nigeria, or their heritage in Nigeria would be completely taken over by the government and they would be arrested on sight.

Nigerians are quite funny.
Nigerians would speak all the English on social media on why 30k min wage is very necessary and why 19,800 is too small but do very little or nothing to increase the countrys income.

Nigerians would be the ones asking for capital project across the country knowing fully well more than 70% of our income is spent on recurrent expenditure but would still scream when the govt decides to collect loan to fund those capital projects.

Oil price today remains below par to service the demands of Nigeria but Nigerians won't factor in every necessary stakes in the economy before making decisions, they are only concerned about what affects them, how they can collect from govt and bring nothing in return.

Yes politicians are corrupt and bad but Nigerians are worst.

Only a weed smoker can rule this country cos every body is mad that's why yaradua is seen as the best president...
I truly wonder how you reason! It is mind boggling!
In the other thread, you were saying it is right for the nigeria police to abandon the supposed corpse of bsndits killed..
Now to this thread.
There are lots of ways to raise fund for this country.
Reduce the cost of governance.
Cut down foreign trips
Reduce bogus salaries and allowance of those in governsnce. Nigerian senators are the highest paid.
Instead of bicameral house why not unicameral.
All this expensive cars and furniture for political officers should be scrapped.
The list is endless.
Make i go chop jare

Then he is stupid cos he should have realized that that's what state government does through the advalorie, personal declaration and other market related taxes and in return the state pays their statutory dues to the government.

It's called double taxation.
