We will stay here on Nairaland until they implement the draconian policy with a resultant hike in prices of products.

We only talk. We talk much. In other climes, youths would have flooded the street and demand the resignation of the moronic Man. But here, we only joke and wait for the hard bite of the policy.

Someone I know in China studying, due to the coronavirus thingy, they evacuated school but govt still pays them well enough for their upkeep

Imagine what they'll think of us hearing that the govt intends to even tax the poor who can barely have 3 square meals, meanwhile the political class are high-flying in style

grin Our leaders no dey plan at all. They're only interested in their pockets. Boris Johnson just brought UK's zero emissions deadline close 2035 and that's 15 years from now. Yet our govt isn't thinking of a future without oil revenue.

Mismanagement in every sector.
Why would they plan? Do they see any future for their grandkids in Nigeria? Their kids already have sumptuous houses in UK, UAE, USA and other places where things work.

Do they even see Nigeria surviving as an entity beyond a few years? They know the time bomb that Nigeria is. The Sultan of Sokoto already warned about Almajiri time bomb.

Wicked souls, Is it not your wicked policies that pushed majority of them into doing menial stuffs just to survive the hell you created. Karma will strike you all dead.
If you want to increase government revenue then you crooks will have to drastically reduce your jumbo pay. that would be a good start. I remember some years back when the nation of Israel wanted to increase their cash flow they had to reduce the salaries of all government and political office holders salaries starting from the prime ministers salary but can such happen here Naa but they will rather tax the poor to death, Awon ole buruku paraku.
