NONNYG:I like the Biryani too. Anytime I visit an area with a large population of India. I do not dull myself. if I can't sit down to eat, I would buy it as take away.

Interesting pics. However, you jumped right back to food photos after showing the toilet and mentioning left hand. Was that intentional? Also, @ op, are you Nigerian (black)? Why did you intentionally do a low budget road trip? Eg taking public transportation, etc. Just wondering. |

tpiar:that is a "genre" of travel, like some hiking from johnesburg to cairo. but my energy will never allow me to do that . so i do small scale adventure. but i will not go to india anymore, it is way too adventurous even by its normal standard. |

i complained the air condition too cold, and there was no remote control. an indian hotel guy came to my room, he used his CELLPHONE , with the app in it , to adjust the temperature. very high-tech.

third day, from visakhapatanum to nellore. nellore is a city never introduced by any travel guide book. a peep at real india. 663km , 200ruper, 1000naira.

the morning time in visakhapatnum, before started today's journey, there is an indian temple at the roadside, in front of the hotel . yesterday was in a rush, i forgot to take a notice of it. and in the early morning, the intoning prayers and the mesmeric bell tolling were epiphanic.

before hopped on the train, i detoured to a nearby indian ocean beach . a mass dumpsite was what i saw at the first.

indian ocean, not as gorgeous as atlantic ocean. i prefer the roaring wave of the latter.

at 10am, i boarded a train, they looked very shabby indeed. there was said only one bullet train line was under construction, the others remained like this.

chicken rice , a low version of biryani, served by the railway uniformed vendors. around 75 rupee, 375 naira. not tasty, but better than none.

said to be the largest lake of india, a lagoon. forget its name. an indian student very proud of it, and tried to pour infomation on me. i even tried to visit a detour sight strongly recommened by him before my planned destination, but it was too hot, i had to return to the train station, and luckily my ticket still valid for the next train bound to the same direction.

my ticket did not facilitate me with a direct train, i needed a transfer. i was totally confused. i even thought the girl who sat beside me and helpfully checked my ticket was joking with me. this guy , coming from nowhere, voluntarily led me to transfer , he went the same way.

late in the evening, arrived in nellore. beyond the tourism route, no introduction in my travel guide book lonely planet. i was a bit panicked. i had to walk 20 munites from the outskirt to the town center, through some empty and lone streets .
