So why is Buhari allowing the Supreme Court to get back it's credibility?

Is Tanko no longer in charge of the Supreme Court?

Is Tanko no longer Buhari's man?

Nigerians are terrible!

Was he really duly elected? I was happy for Bayelsa people at first not because I like APC but because i have been to Bayelsa and I wept for the people, I was hoping a change in parties will change the narrative amongst politicians and possibly will start thinking about the people. I pray the new Governor elect will learn from the election and transform the state. God bless Bayelsa.

So You really do think that Buhari the man they call a dictator and tyrant would give away oil rich Bayelsa because he wants to pacify people for getting poor Imo state??

A Bayelsa he got massively at the policing booth?

grin grin

People dey reason sha!

That makes sense if it also denies former president GEJ control over the state. Meanwhile it seems many people on nairaland cannot state their personal opinion without first making a derogatory remark.

Now it's 'victory for democracy'. If and when it goes against them, it'll be 'stolen mandate'. Double standards

I personally congratulate our able daughter and supreme court Judge that headed the panel that delivered this indisputable justice.

Thank you our able and reliable daughter, Justice Mary Odili for helping to avenge the injustice the northern oligarchs in collaboration with their Yoruba quack judge meted on our able son Governor Emeka Ihedioha.

We will not rest until we avenge in full the injustice against Emeka Ihedioha or until Sharia Judge Tankowawa reinstates the rightful Governor Imo state people voted for in the last year's general election.

Once again, thank you Justice Mary Odili, Mbaise and the whole Igbos are proud of you daughter of Zion! kiss

JAWBONE:
I am as angry today as I was on the day of the Imo State judgement. This is an aberration. The Supreme Court can never be more powerful than the wishes of the people. Seven men/women in robes and wigs can and should NOT decide the fate of millions of people. Their "judgement" cannot overide what millions have decided. Take this power away from the Supreme Court. It has become an institution for political games and machinations.

Victory for PDP. Defeat for the people of Bayelsa. Democracy is a big joke in Nigeria.

This is NOT worth celebrating. The most important factor in a democracy is that the wishes of the people prevail and the Supreme Court once again has taken that away. Is this compensation for Imo State.

I think we are better off going back to our pre-colonial monarchical system. This Nigerian democracy is just "demo" and "craze" join together
thank you, its a very sad precedence.

you're just acting as an illiterate. all five justices agreed to the decision. if others have disagreed and peter odili agreed, there's nothing she could have done even though she's the lead judge.

Dear CORONA VIRUS,
I want to beg you in the name of Allah, please don't listen to the empty boasts of our Nigeria leaders. Our leaders don't know what they are saying. How can they say they are ready and prepared for you?
Abeg Sir, na lie, na slip of tongue. Just yesterday they said they have voted N680m to prepare for you, just imagine!! How much is that?
Sir, Look at how your Younger brother, Lassa Fever, is dealing with our people, your brother is already in 28 states of Nigeria unstoppable talk less of you.
Dear CORONA VIRUS, your birth place, China, with all her sophistications couldn't withstand your anger.
*China is overwhelmed,
*WHO is overwhelmed,
*Advanced countries are scared,
*Nigeria is boasting.
(Snails do not attend a meeting of Animals with horns).
Please in the name of God , don't come here, we can't handle you, we don't have the money, we don't have any hospital, no Power, we don't even have hand gloves and nose masks, our Doctors are afraid of you.
Our Government is joking.

I can feel your pains.
Pains?

Hehehehehehe.

Only pity those who do not have jobs and sources of livelihood not me.

Whether APC Bayelsa Governor or PDP Bayelsa Governor,
Fact is; 90 percent of Bayelsa's wealth will be siphoned and those poor ones will continue to suffer.

Pity them not me.

And if you are jobless then you can pity yourself join.

Whether Lyon or Duro, Bayelsa will remain very poor.
