You better go and get it. Even PG admission here in ABU u have to present ur Bsc Certificate otherwise u must write an undertaking takeless of Employment. Ur Cert will be ready from the day of ur convocation.

On a 2nd thought, did you apply for deputy manager role or a lower position?

If you did apply for a deputy managerial role, did you consider the prospect of climbing up managerial laddera by becoming a manager, GM, etc NNPC managers (including GMs and GGMs) earn a crazy amount of money very few in the industry can dream about, with very mouthwatering pension package. That would mean you must be currently earning very well in a desirable position to decline a deputy managerial role in NNPC.

If you applied for a lower position, then I think you took the right decision to back out.

Same story though I didn't get the APL.

Even made enquiries about the original certificate but still not ready. Although not unique to me alone. ABU Zaria set 2017

My friends from other Department have theirs, but my Dept., no one has gotten. I was told that we needed to apply to the Academic Secretary before it could be produced (which could take 3 months).
I didn't mention this, another panelist (an ABU Alumnus) defended me when I was quizzed on the certificate issue, he told the other members that at times it takes long for the certificates to be produced, citing his as an example.
To answer your question, it looks like I'm the only one from my set (Departmental level) that got it.

It might be true. What I know for sure is that, there is a meeting scheduled for ending this month.
One of the major items on the agenda is to discuss proposals for voluntary retirement of staff on SS4-SS1( staff that joined the corporation as Juniors and later converted to Senior Staff cadre).
After the meeting, they will review all vacancies.
They may likely discuss about EH. For those that have sources should help us confirm the outcome of the meeting.

You still have to produce the certificate anyhow at some point.

I don’t think you will be denied documentation because of this. They know they will do their own independent verification of all certificates for everybody before confirmation.

I have no idea what their requirement will be during documentation. However, nobody quizzed me about the non availability of my certificate. I believe NNPC will verify any credential submitted by new intakes be it certs or statements of results though my certificate is ready for collection. I graduated in 2016 as well bro.

Was hoping I would hear that some progress has been made. Unfortunately this was the feedback someone got for me from a senior personnel in HR early this month.
