NB: my dad cooks, cleans and serves himself food. He's meticulous about cleaning, more than myself. Sometimes, he arrives from work earlier than my mom (especially days she has to go to market to do her business) and chop clean mouth hours before anybody is home. When my mom went for omugwo and he was the only one at home (because we all were living in school), he feed himself for that period without complain. My mom didn't have to worry cause she knew oga na correct guy.

See this scenario: I on gen in my house, I fill gas. I cook on sundays after training my wife and kids(Sunday workouts) then I dont see a big deal in taking my dish to kitchen after eating. I carry mine, the kids carry theirs so is my wife and house help. No big issue in it except any man sees it that way. If a man should see it that way, it shouldn't be a problem. Your wife would notice this and do the needful.

My dear far from it...my two kids aged 4 and 2yrs old pack and washes their plates after eating...pick the crumbs, then mop the tiles.
