70 or 80 will go to mum while the remaining will go to dad because i am sure she is still going to spend most part of the money on the family while dad goes out to booze away his money with friends

Dominique are you still coming?

You know my thoughts, it's either you are from a broken home or your dad was never a do well kind of dad who drinks, womanise and melt out any kind of iltreatment to mum and children. People like you can never see any good in dads. Single mom child who sees their dad as demon.

Try and be the best dad

Ikjosh04:
Well, a good father leave inheritance for his children and his children children. Right now, my dad is leaving debt for us and I'm the first born. I'll give my mom 90k and my dad 10k so it won't look like I'm biased. Honestly, my mom has been the one taking care of the family until recently cause I've stepped up my hustle(still praying for blessings and more blessings). Meanwhile, I'm very sure the 90k I'll give my mum, it's still my dad that will have total control of the money.
I don't know why I feel this way but when I see my dad, I know he didn't do enough(hustle) to fight poverty. He is that type of man that knows how to spend money so fast and he takes life easy.

P. S., my dad is a good man to me and the family but he is not hustle wise.
Do you know why he doesn't hustle?

When a woman struggles, he makes the man lazy

Though mum saw the less interest in him and have to struggle hard to separate your family from hardship

Tomorrow now, one idiot will be envying her forgetting she almost went naked and starving to provide for her family

May God's blessings be upon her

If you were to share 100k between your parents, how much will each get? And why?

Me, I will give mom 70k and 30k to dad. Reason is, Mom needs a little more love for her enormous sacrifices. Woman has starved and done a lot of strenuous jobs to keep us going
My parents.... 100k....no sharing... They both put heads and money together to make I and my siblings who we are today... Theyv always had this united front that you don't know who is bringing what or who is doing the most.... They make it seem like they are both equally doing everything to make us better... So I'd call a meeting and present the money to the head of the home... My dad... But at the end... They both have it.

The only reason mother might get more, she will spend more on the house and family

The sacrifice carried out by fathers most times for their families is highly underrated. if you came from a stable family, then i tell you both parents deserve same amount of love and compensation.
You are so right
like i said mother will likely spend more on the family

I dove my hat for this write up of yours. 50-50 is a fair deal.

It is not difficult to identify a bastard nowadays.

Just take a look at these kids undermining the post of a father in their lives. The system has so much brought down the role of a father. Making him look like a figure head. Praising the mother alone.

Little wonder we have so many days assigned to praise women and just a day to notice the value of a man (Father’s day). Most times the Father’s Day come and go without anyone noticing it

Same father who worked all his life to take care of his family? Same father who will risk his life day and night just to put food on the table? Same father who paid your fees from the very first day you were born till you started earning your own money? Same father who put a roof over your head and even assigned your own room? (No wonder men die early)

Only for him to be cheated again when he is to reap the fruit of his Labour. Little wonder most of you are cursed. It is because you have offended God and man by being a fool.

Just take a look at the cheap gold-digging girls we have nowadays. All they do is look for a ready made man. So after having kids for that guy, those unfortunate kids will rather take care of her than their father who has worked for money all his life?

What happened to 50:50? To hell with you simpletons.

My mum has done a whole lot for me and I’ll do anything just to make her happy but my dad (bless his soul) deserves as much love and happiness.

Even the 50:50 sef, my dad will still buy gifts for mum from that money. I understand most of you are not from stable homes sha...Una dey use una family problem judge the matter.
Shut up your stupid misorgynist mouth. On this thread alone, more males than females have said they'll give their mothers more, why then are you attacking women?

People have their own opinions based on what they experienced first hand and if it pains you so much, dive into the lagoon.

DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT OTHERS EXPERIENCE WOULD BE DIFFERERNT? CAN'T PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THIS BASIC FACT?. AHAN
Of course individual experience and perspective will be different.

But in some balance or indifference situation, the society has ingrained it that the male gender is tough and should sick it up.

Anyway, it is turn by turn. What goes round come round like they say.

But my advice is for people to be fair to their parents to the best on their capabilities.( Abusive parents case is a different one)

Don’t take it so seriously sir. Can’t u tell I was partly joking.
But on a serious note 90% of children favour mom and rightly so. GENERALLY SPEAKING, anyone who carries someone in their belly for 9 months, goes through great pain to bring them into the world, breastfeeds them, etc. willl naturally care more about that person than someone who did none of those

That sounds like say you have a bad father... No pun intended though.

Me I will give mum ₦20k and dad ₦80k...
The reason is because, he will still be providing for the family from that.
He will still spend more than ₦30k on mum apart from feeding and accommodation.
My dad is cool, but mom is cooler.

your father that struggled to train you and take care of your mum and other siblings did not Sacrificed according to you.

Kwantinu, I can see your gender is male, don't worry, your sons will give you double dose of what you're serving your dad.

Anyways, I sent my parents money for December, and it was 50/50.
don't forget, Dad is still going to spend from his to take care of the family.

that said whatever rocks your boat is fine.
