monfizzy:Good for you, London seemed like a different world to me first time I got there. Even though I was from another European country but the difference in class, tech, organisation and decorum, and finally people that you didn't have to ask if they understood English, was clear. Lovely place it seems, though quite expensive for broke students like us. Settling there after studies will be a dream come true. |

sholay2011:Ouch, I relate to this a lot. I didn't even have enough money to spare for a taxi ride to my city on arrival. All by myself, I had to grow up right in the airport, I ended up taking the train on my first day in a country where I knew no one. Crazy experience, has lived with me since then. |

greenprince:Depending on what you’re studying it might be possible to migrate to Britain after you graduated. From next year, the UK will begin a Canada/Australia style merit based system for people with some certain skills to move here. So just maybe you might qualify giving that you’re educated abroad. |

monfizzy:I'm studying pharmacy and due to graduate in 2023. But I hope to gain some research or even unpaid volunteering or internships within the UK before then. I've been to about ten countries and I don't think I found it easier to blend anywhere as I did in the UK. I guess not needing extra language skills does help. |

There has to be willingness. Are we willing to better the country or we keep insisting on the status quo as usual? vivavik: |

CrudeSon:why does Nigeria have to be enjoyed only by the people with money and big bosses? why can't Nigeria be made to be enjoyed by everyone rich, poor, young old, disabled, big or small? This is why people are clamouring to leave, those people leaving can have good living in foreign countries regardless if they are poor or rich, some are not leaving because they are poor, some are leaving because of other issues with Nigeria. like, No security, no electricity, police brutality, kidnappers, bad roads, rubbish schools, rubbish hospitals and Ignorant people like you. Anyway, is Nigeria for only the rich? or big bosses? this your mentality is an Ignorant one. I pity you then if you are not a big boss or have money in Nigeria. ![]() Rich folks are also Suffering in Nigeria, they are afraid to get robbed, kidnapped or killed. ![]() |
