I think PG 13 change in style has more to do with his adjustment to the major injuries he has had. To ensure his longevity he's settling more for jumpers avoiding contact but I have not doubt he can turn it up when it's needed. He took a leap last year and I think he has it in him if healthy to elevate his game.

While your argument may be logical, I respectfully disagree with it. PG13 suffered that horrific injury while he was still playing for Indiana in 2014 and he has since made tremendous jumps career wise until this season. After his return from injury he averaged 23 points for consecutive seasons in Indiana before he joined OKC. At OKC he had a difficult transition in his first season but exploded in his 2nd and final season, averaging 28 points while playing intelligent and aggressive basketball. Right now he is averaging his lowest points and efficiency ration. Over this period, his 2PA% has dropped significantly while his 3PA% average has spiked.
Players are very vulnerable to short cuts and if not managed properly would become a habit and that that is what George is struggling with. I don’t believe it has much to do with his injury because we saw him at OKC and his final season in Indiana after the injury. PG13 has been an All Star for 3 consecutive seasons after he returned from injury until this season, infact he was in the MVP and DPOY conversation. I remember complaining about this issue at the tail end of last season and now it has become a bad habit he has entrapped himself into.
I get it, his numbers will predictably drop considering he is playing with Kawhi in a more fluid system but his efficiency numbers have also plummeted this season and he has almost become one dimensional in his offense.
Historically George is not a volume scorer, he may have games where he score above 30 here and there but he is renowned to be an efficient scorer who takes high percentage shots and that is not what we are seeing.

Bradley Beal says he wants to stay in DC:

“I can go to Boston, I can go to Toronto, I can go to Miami…But what would that look like? It wouldn’t necessarily be my team to where now I’m in a situation in Washington where I’m being built around.”

(h/t @MarcJSpearsESPN ) https:///r14GeTrM4i
I have zero sympathy for player like Beal and Lillard who chose money over winning or who have this stupid delusion that they can be a 1A on a championship winning squad when they clearly are not.
.
If you're not a proven winner like LeBron, KD, Kawhi,Curry and transcendent talent like Giannis doncic, Embiid, Anthony Davis, Harden you have no business of having an ego of an 1a type of player in this league.
You either lower your ego and beg players or join you or go and join them grin especially when you are in a small market, You don't further handicap the team by taking the maximum amount of money available and limiting the ability of the team to get the necessary talent if truly you care about winning.

LeBron, wade, KD, Nowitzki and spur legends took pay cuts and made sacrifices to win because they considered winning as number 1.

Then you have clowns like Lillard, Wall and Beal who will eat the whole pie and be forming one fake loyalty when their teams can't win
That one is their problem. Can't be feeling bad for folks signing $100m contracts. They know what they signed up for and I guess they are showing loyalty to an extent.

Obviously though they have not been smart about it

But PG has been struggling with shoulder issues since last season and then the shoulder and hamstring this year. In all fairness YG Trece has been far from 80% and that's why the Clippers were over the place ab initio. If he gets to even 80% level the league is in trouble

Yh the Bucks a serious problem on their hands come the playoffs and that is in the form of Bledsoe.
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 6:35am On Mar 07, 2020
The Lakers are getting the majority of the calls here. Can't blame the Refs though for the Buck's players refusing to turn up for the game.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 6:53am On Mar 07, 2020
Middleton can not buy a bucket... The brother may end up rebuilding the wall of China with bricks in this game. No need to even mention Bledsoe... to imagine he is getting paid to put up poverty numbers!!!

Giannis also needs to show up. He had a great 1st Q and that was it until late in the 4th. Credit to Vogel and his coaching crew, they have contained him largely, forcing him to play outside the paint which he settled for by taking low percentage shots. He looks aggressive in the 4th like he was in the 1st and that is what he has to do for 4 quarters especially against fellow contenders.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 7:13am On Mar 07, 2020
AD is a problem!
Giannis Why? This is an example of an ill advised low percentage shot I was talking about. With 2 minutes to go and down 6 points, why is Giannis settling for a 3?
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 7:17am On Mar 07, 2020
Another bad shot selection!
Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 7:19am On Mar 07, 2020
That is a recurring problem. I hope this does not become his undoing, late in the playoffs, again.

Nah He has done alright. His teammates need to show up like AD has done for Bron today. There is only so much one man can do. If these dudes keep playing like this, no way they reach the ECF nevermind win the titles. As for low percentage shots, He's been taking them frequently these last few games. Gearing up for the playoffs methinks.

Baba noooo!!! If you read closely you would see where I called out his team mates but it would a disservice to Giannis if we don’t hold him accountable for games like today.
He is definitely on a different level in comparison to his team mates so he has to perform at his level. He showed up in only 2 quarters of the game, the 2nd was late in the 4th. He made some very careless decisions with the ball especially shot selections. I get it, Vogel made it difficult but he made it easier for them to game plan for him during the game with bad selections.
This is a game against 2 contenders, this is a game the superstars circle with intention to dominate all 4 quarters. LeBum’s performance tonight was indicative of my last sentence. Giannis is still my MVP candidate, no questions asked but he desperately needs a ring considering how hard he has worked over the last 3 seasons.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 7:33am On Mar 07, 2020
I've always said it that if LeBron wanted to average 40 in the regular season, he'll easily do it. But that's not what he's all about. The regular season is a marathon, he knows how to pace himself. That's the reason why he doesn't sit too many games out. Relax, Bron got you.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:41am On Mar 07, 2020
Lol would be very surprised if the voters still voted Giannis. LeNomad just might have sealed the MVP race just off this game.

Anyway Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe stinking up the joint as usual. What's new? Giannis better wise up and not let those two dunderheads waste his prime make e port go Golden State. How can you the second option in a marquee game like this go 5/19.

Hence why I said He had a decent game not a great one. Whilst He did not have a great game, there is only so much He could have done out there tonight. He would have needed to have gone for 50+ tonight for His team to have stood a chance of winning. Tbh I don't think Vogel did anything special. Nothing that far out of the ordinary really. Nurse and Spo on the other hand, now we are talking.

I already acknowleged King James was fantastic today but Davis was the real difference maker. When your Second Option is giving up 30+ points in combination with DPOY level defence then you are doing well.

I can excuse Middleton. Not only has been Phenomenal this season, He is just coming back from a Neck Injury. It takes a bit of time to get back into the swing of things after such an Injury. Bledshoe on the other hand is a wasteman. His Poverty numbers from Last season has remained unchanged. It becomes even more obvious anytime Hill is out for an extended period of time. There is no one but Him to Help generate points off the bench from the PG spot.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 8:26am On Mar 07, 2020
Just because LeBron chooses not to defend the best players on the opposing team they say he can't defend. Y'all make me laugh. 5-time defensive first team. Jokers

When it's crunch time best believe LeBron gon be guarding your favourite player.

I was wondering why Giannis was limping in the 4th Q? He apparently tweaked His knee(the free throw He missed came after the Limp too). Here is hoping it's nothing serious.
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 9:22am On Mar 07, 2020
Make we hear word about defence ojare. They did community defending for Giannis. The home team deserved to win and Lebron on the offensive end was aggressive.

Now, it is time for the "it is just a regular season game" energy to be maintained. Don't use it when you lose twice to the Clippers but celebrate it when you beat the Bucks. They got owned by Miami and the Spurs too. Na so regular season dey take be sometimes.

There are still some palpable limitations to Giannis' game. But imagine having to play him this hard and hope his usually reliable Chris Middleton stinks up the joint again. I don't wager it is likely.

As a GSW man I just wanted Bucks to catch that 10th L so I can rest knowing 73-9 is still intact. Sunday will tell me more of what I want to see. After all, you have to come out of the west to be able to face Giannis and his Bucks.

That's the tactics most teams use and will continue to use until His teammates decide to turn up and make things easier to for Him. AD and Bron were also taking turns banging with Him in the post. That shyte is going to tire you out eventually.

The series in tied 1all too. Both teams won at home. However what His significant about this game is that the Buck's loss is much closer to the playoffs. True about the Heats plus they've actually won both of their match ups.

100%....There absolutely is. He is never going to be as Silky smooth as Steph or Durant is but bet He is working hard to improve His game. His FT % for instance has come on leaps and bounds since He changed His routine I think before the All star break(His 3 missed shot came after His knee tweak).

LOOOL C'mon bruh did you actually think that? No chance they win 70 games let alone threaten your record. Your record will be safe for a longgggg time. A fully Fit Clippers are the Best and Most well rounded team in the playoffs. Also looking forward to that game.

buck's bought perimeter shooters because of Giannis, that team was built with him in mind over the last 3years, that is reversible especially now, given the way they play another star would be wasted, its not worth it, besides what do they have to trade? Asides Giannis?

He isnt going no place, if he does, he would take so much hate, it will be heavy on his career, lebron and Kawhi got nothing compared to what buck fans will to do Giannis, his entire family is being taken care of by the fans and franchise, like he is their jesus literally, don't play guy man is not going anywhere, if anything, they have draft picks but be honest, given how good they have been, their picks will be too low for teams to desire, bucks have their work cut out for them and its almost impossible, I don't even want to think about it.
