If I get 3 months tourist visa online through an agent who is in Dubai, do I need to still visit UAE embassy here in Nigeria for biometric and other things concerning the visa Or I should head straight to Airport then book for flight?

What's the cheapest one can get a room, that is a studio apartment of course?

And would one need an Emirates ID before you can rent an apartment?

Re: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by be4dem(m): 1:25pm On Mar 12, 2020
Yellow card na scam. Its a way of extorting Money. Got to dubai today and while at the airport a guy told me to get the yellow card and that if i dont have it, i will be sent back. I had to call a friend and he told me not to mind him. It just a way of extorting money from people

The e yellow card is now important and can cause delay at the airport it became mandatory because of the yellow fever out break IN Nigeria and the coronavirus.
It's a directive from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority(NCAA) it's a proof that you have been vaccinated against yellow fever
If you ask me it wont hurt to adhere and it's a payment done online while you take the generated receipt to the Airport for vaccination and the yellow card.

I'm here to tell those who intend coming to Dubai the plain truth.

See, if you plan coming to UAE to search for jobs, just have it in mind that you've got about 95% chance of returning home after 3months without getting a job or invitation for interview at all. Professionals might have good chance of getting jobs, I don't know about that. It's risky coming here with your attested certificate without any skill or UAE experience to search for jobs. It's like staking VERY BIG on East Thurrock or York city to beat Liverpool 3-0 correct score, you know what I mean. It's possible, but the chance is very slim.

My advice:

Coming to the UAE with a 3months visa for job hunting, will cost you nothing less than N1million (visa, attestation, flight ticket, accommodation in uae for 3months, feeding, and transport fee for job hunting EXCLUDING Agents and other 419 fees, if you're not wise or too desperate). Use that money to invest into any business. You don't need to start Big. Start small and watch your business grow. And if you already have a business, don't sell your business or quit your job because one stupid agent is promising you a job that would pay you 500k monthly in Dubai. Use that money to expand your business. If you must travel, consider Canada through Express Entry.

For a moment, ask yourself why those who came here to make enquires about certificate authentication or confirmation of their visas, refuse to come back here to share their testimony/experience after they got to the UAE. They are either stranded or have returned home without a job.

So think!

Bye bye.

Typical reply from a single minded Nigerian, this reminds me of a saying.... if a nurse is taking care of a sick man and he is having an erection, allow him to die to go and sleep with whoever he sees in grave.

Education; Schools are temporarily closed, higher institutions are considering to fully upgrade to e-learning.
Tourism, hospitality, sales; Reduced influx of tourist. These are the industries with highest employment opportunities.
This is just my own opinion and was not intended to raise a false alarm nor instill fear into the hearts of those who had already concluded their plans.

My guy you have said an open truth. I was thinking of coming to give advice based on what you just typed. Since you have started it, I will complement your write-up.

3-Months Tourist Visa with the aim of staying back for job search is TERRIBLY RISKY now than before. The current situation shows that when there are 10 vacancies more than 500 applicants would compete for them. What will happen to the 490 applicants that remain? Probably, they will be frustrated, depressed and eventually over stay their visa. You don't want to get to this level!

Yet hundreds and thousands of new Tourist Visa holders are coming into UAE with the same purpose. How terrible!

If you have a job than can sustain you in Nigeria, you better stay back and plan your way to Canada, Germany, Australia, and now UK or other European countries through immigration program or education.

The fact is that UAE is no longer attractive for job seekers but so wonderful for TOURISM purpose.

For some of us who still believe that what we are writing are lies, you have a choice to come and see for yourself. But to be forewarned is to be forearmed. Don't believe that agent that is deceiving you to come, he is only INTERESTED in the PROFIT he will make from you.

But however, if you are a graduate with experience and ready to do 2-year Personal Resident Permit directly from Nigeria, you MIGHT have a better chance.

Take this warning seriously. Don't be in Nigeria with UNREASONABLE HOPE that UAE is your HEAVEN so you must come at all cost.

BE WARNED!

Thanks for the advice.
About starting business and watching it grow.
It is never a fact that 100% of people must do business or good in business, some are best in education or working alone. So no matter what business you open for them. Forget it , it will collapse. I have 5years experience in sales and marketing. So am talking from experience.

People talk about Starting business, I just laughed. 60% of business man and woman in Nigeria run business on loans . Businesses requires grace of God, capital, good location and government help. My brother Nigeria government is not helping.

Secondly, for those who are not good in business, and want to travel for job hunting.
Please let make sure we have a good working experience like he says, Authenticate your certificate. Read all the pages again, pick some better information
And travel to take a step.
I have some years of experience in drink production company, well known production company in Nigeria

A good sales experience that I can't work with your company and not see impact in one month.

But Nigeria company will still be paying you 60k, 80k with this Lagos Expenses.
But if you re earning more than 120k above, think well before traveling.

So, if you think it worth going and want to take the risk. Take the step, even life itself is a risk.

You talk about Canada express, my brother. Do you think Canada express na 1milion? Or just a month process.

My advice is you can use Dubai as a stepping stone, while hustling in Dubai, be trying other shengen countries through study channel like Germany, Finland , Malta etc. Rather than sitting down in one place and having the fear of failing .
You can do all this process online yourself
There are free or low tuition fees in most of the Shengen countries

Best of luck

Yellow card is mandatory for shengen countries.
You have to do it at ministry of health at MM2 in Lagos .
They will give you vaccine injection and the yellow card.
But I will advice you to do.
If only you want to settle in UAE
But if you wish to travel to any Europe country in future or other Africa countries
You have to do it.

Requirements
Pay on Remita
Print the receipt
Take it to the office
Go with your international passport
You have to eat before you go , because of the injection.

I did it 2015 when I was going to west Africa
Also when I applied for Egypt and Italy tourist visa. It is mandatory.
