Check IOM, Ikeja or Q-life. Go to their website, get their email address and send them a mail. They would reply with the nearest date available, the amount and every other information you need for the medical exam.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Kinzeerichy: 8:56pm On Mar 14, 2020
Greeting all, I need help.

I’m new on this thread and I seek your advice on my application. I just gained admission to the University of Victoria for my Masters in Law commencing August 27, 2020. I got my Bachelor of Laws here in Nigeria in 2017 (Service in 2018/2019 in same law firm I work now). Tuition fee for a year is approx. CAD$7,500 and I was given 2,000 from the School as funding for now. My uncle (presenting him as a brother) is sponsoring me.

In addition to immigration documents, below are the documents I intend to submit:

Profile

Statement of Purpose
Diploma in Law Certificate (Distinction)
LLB Certificate (First Class)
Call to Bar/Qualifying Certificate (First Class)
University Transcripts for both Diploma and LL.B
2/3 Pictures of Awards
NYSC Certificate
Acceptance Letter
Letter of Employment from law firm I work
Letter of Recommendation from work
Office ID card
Birth Certificate
Police Report
Data Page of Int’l Passport/National ID
Letters from Stanbic IBTC Pensions
Evidence of Tax Remittance

Financials

Sponsor’s Personal SOA with 16m
Sponsor’s Letter of Sponsorship with his company letter head
Sponsor’s Affidavit of Sponsorship
His Company’s Certificate of Incorporation
Tax Clearance Certificate for himself and the Company
Data Page of Int’l Passport
Deed of Gift (he will transfer like 5/6m to my personal account immediately before application in partial fulfillment of his sponsorship)
My Personal Statement of Account with like 1.5m with 5/6m from sponsor making 6/7.5m
Pay Slips for 6months

Home Tie

Father’s CAC documents showing I’m one of the directors
Study Leave Approval from work giving me just 1yr
Inclusion in my SOA that I will return as I won’t be qualified to practice as a lawyer in Canada but will return to resume work in Nigeria where I’m qualified.

Although I applied to University of Saskatchewan and Calgary which usually come with full funding that will cover tuition and living expenses. However, University of Saskatchewan sent an e-mail that due to COVID, decision will be reached in mid-end April while I haven’t heard at all from Calgary.

Questions

Are those documents above sufficient?

Should I proceed with University of Victoria and leave Usask and Calgary in the interest of time? or chill till April? and apply with a full funding?

What are the roles of these agents? Should I engage them or do it myself?

I look forward to receiving guidance from you. Thank you.

Honestly, using an agent makes no difference.
If you have gathered all these documents yourself then there's no need. You can get some experienced people here like Frank, Justwise and others to review your SOP

Your profile looks very cool, so you can apply for TRV now and if the other offer comes with full funding you will switch to it(hopefully by then CIC would have approved your application).
As for using an agent, DO NOT TRY THAT. You are smart enough to do it yourself, so since you have gathered all documents come back here to ask specific questions whenever you feel confused along the line.
Good luck

Just take out diploma cert and diploma transcripts. Include your transcript if your admission is conditional subject to submitting your transcripts. What’s the essence of the stanbic ibtc letter? Is your LLM for a year? The sponsor need not write a letter with the company head provided it is from his personal account.
What’s the essence of the picture of 2/3 awards?
You should also start your visa application since you have admission letter. You can always switch schools later.

Thank you all for the advice and guidance. If I’m to apply now, how difficult is it to change school if another Uni with full funding gives me admission by mid-end of April?

I should be able to do it myself. If I’m to wait till April ending, is it too late to apply as resumption is August 27?

Thank you again.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Nobody: 10:56am On Mar 15, 2020
You should wait for the uni with full funding to come through.

April is enough time to apply for an August resumption.

Hopefully the NSE scheme will start soon

All the best

It’s not difficult to change school. As long as it’s LLM you are going for.
If you want to wait till then, it’s your call. Anything can happen as CIC is very unpredictable.

The full funded uni will give him more chances of getting the visa though

Just my opinion but it’s up to him

I’m very grateful for the contributions thus far. Last question please.

Any potential issue with my uncle/brother transferring the 5/6m to my personal account supported by a deed of gift?

He printed his 16m SOA on Wednesday last week for me and if I’m to apply in mid-end April, wont the time difference between applying and printing the SOA create any issue?

Thanks Always.

Hi guys, any suggestions on universities or colleges that provide any of the following if not all:
1. Low tuition.
2. Scholarships/aids
3. English proficiency waiver.
Also would provide the international student with work permit after the undergraduate studies. Many thanks in anticipation.

I saw your previous post and this one. Do it yourself without an agent. Be very careful when filling those IMM forms. Ask questions if you are unsure of anything.

Blema asked you some very good questions which you did not answer, I will suggest you take time and look into it. I will like to ask you again, why is your company specifying 1 year as the leave period? Your LLM in University of Victoria, are you very sure it can be completed in 1 year?

The transfer of huge funds into your account by your Uncle is not a big deal, once you can explain the source of the funds and why. You can use a table to explain.

Your uncle has 16M in SOA, I hope he has had a good cash flow in that account for the past 4-6 months? The account balance is irrelevant if the cash flow is not good. Also show proof of relationship to your uncle.

Mikeerrr suggested you wait till April as a fully funded scholarship might boost your chances. Even though there is no official confirmation to this, I strongly agree with mikeerrr. I suggest you wait till April to see if the full scholarship comes through. If by end of April, no show, go ahead and apply with University of Victoria. Applying end of April for Fall admission is still very okay.

Changing schools is not a problem once visa is approved.

If you will apply end of April, I suggest you tell your uncle to print out another SOA. However, any SOA within 30 days of visa application is accepted.

Also, make sure you get someone to proof read your LOE.

Sorry about the outcome of your application. Thanks for the compliments about me and best wishes. I really appreciate. God bless you too!

With regards to your present downhearted situation, I think you've done the right thing by ordering your GCMS notes in an effort to have a clearer insight about your VISA Rejection. September (fall) 2020 is not so far as you may view it at this time. Once you're able to secure a new Admission and also your scholarship, you can file for your study permit in time so you could be able to meet up for the accepted term.

Certainly, I will be glad to assist you in your next application and see that it works out perfectly and positively.

Keep the honourable house posted whenever the GCMS notes finally drops in your mailbox.

It shall end in praises

Google DLI Canada. It’s a webpage that gives you a list of institutions that you can attend that will qualify you to apply for a work permit after graduation. You can search province by province or if you already know which province you want to live in you go directly to that province. The stakes are too high (time, money and resources that you are going to spend on this venture) for you to rely on random strangers to give you the information. It’s better you do the search yourself and avoid stories that touch.
