Zenith in my view should just pay cash and cancel all the share capital of Union bank. 300b - 400b should buy it.
yMcy56:

Offer was available for UBN since and the bid not that heavy nah.
UBN price didn't change much also cos it looks high already self. For them to consider that price, Zenith needs to move back to the 17/18 region or they beat down the price of Union like you said.
Anyway we see how it goes.....

300b is too much in my view.
Market value of Zenith is currently less than 500b.
I don't think Union should be valued more than 1/4 of zenith.

Please Ma'am, will I still qualify for Gtb dividend if I buy tomorrow? Since tomorrow is the markdown. As it stands, I gave my analogue stockbroker instruction to buy, but I don't think my bid was successful. Cashcraft can really delay.

It would be better if both return to fair value. Although nothing perfect.

Investment bankers and consultants will do their plus and minus. QED cheesy

Yes. You will qualify. Register will be closed after COB tomorrow (precisely on Thur).
My concern is however the cashcraft you're using.
What if they buy but cant credit your account with it before COB? It simply means you'll be losing 2.50k on top of your purchases by Thursday morning. If you know they can't buy or credit your account with it before COB, I'll advice you WAIT to pick some units on Thursday the markdown date and wait to chop price appreciation instead.

*Sorry. Couldn't post link now....and the doc is not attaching*

If it's digital, he can get in, if purchased in the early hours but for analogue, it's almost impossible, so he better wait till after markdown to buy.

What about AIICO. Valuation mode will be used not market price. grin
The Market price could actually be low to what fair valuation is. See Dangote Flour grin

Sis , I finally bought few gtb today . Pls what should I do next so I can get my dividend . I use Morgan capital . Pls advice. Thanks so much for always been helpful
yMcy56:

Difficult question but since you asked for my opinion, I will say, Yes. GTB is still very okay below N20. It's place is above N20. It's gap with Stanbic shouldn't be too far apart. smiley

DD advised.
