Headies, AMAA, AMVCA, it's Yorubas winning these awards. Instead of these Potopoto Hebrews to ask how it's being done, they go on social media to post nonsense. We see it all the time. Especially during Headies. Jude from PSquare said the same nonsense. One MC akonuche said the same crap last year.

The problem with these folks is delusion. It's like they expect every other ethnic group to remain stagnant. Lol. The world is moving fast. And people are moving with it. Everyone is competing. No one is going to wait for you.


We're no more in Aki and Pawpaw era o. There is crazy filming technology out there. Go see what Diji Aderogba and Tayo Aina are doing with their videos on Youtube. Same way you have more educated Yoruba youths learning how to code is the same way you have more young Igbo youths learning to trade. You'll find more Yorubas boxing.

That's the essence of movies. Of all tribes in Nigeria, none is as culturally immersed as the Yorubas when it comes to movies. They comfortably still do movies produced in their mother tongue while you're most likely to see an all Igbo cast speaking English like deportees.

I remember, out of bound a block buster of late 90s, the like of Ayo Adesanya and Bimbo Akintola made the movie a memorable one.

What about the MBGN. That one was even created with tribal motive. What is the need for most beautiful girl in Nigeria when we have a miss Nigeria already. I have noticed an obvious attempt to make it seem more prominent than it's predecessor. And to make it worse, Igbo girls are made to represent every state. Please and please is amvca an African or a Nigeria award what does tribalism have to do here. If we are to judge amvca Is a pan Africa award but I am sorry to say other africa countries are not duely represented in the award category.
