Yeah, I have done my interview last Thursday. Took about 20 minutes. Was asked mainly generic questions, about my objectives-long and short term, challenges I could face when admitted, my experience (CV). But I think interview questions are not fixed, one could be asked anything. Cos someone who helped me prepare for the interview was asked technical questions concerning his preferred course. Signal processing, programming, mathematics etc.

Just wanted to know if you have done your interview. What were the questions asked?

Ok thanks for your help! I was asked to prepare for technical too. Don't know if it will in depth

You never really can tell the scope of the interview. Just try your best preparing adequately. All the best

Those that applied to the university of Tartu, any idea on how to handle the transcript issue because I have mine in hand and the school request that the transcript be sent to them directly from the school.

Yes, the school has to send them. You can add the scanned version in the application platform. They use the scanned version to perform initial review.
Re: Lets Talk About Estonia by Nobody: 9:20am On Mar 18, 2020
Aitah! which means thanks so much and i hope 1 million naira balance in her account will suffice or lower (give suggestion) or not compulsory?
skimpy:
First, you have to reserve a flight ticket and hotel reservation. You can get the reserved flight ticket from www.turkishairline.com and the hotel from booking.com. Make sure you select hotel without reservation fee and free cancellation. On the flight ticket, select the option of pay later. Also get your bank statement ready. Scan the 3 documents mentioned above and have them on your phone or laptop depending on which device you want to use to apply online.

Now go to their website and start your online pre-application for visa. Fill in all the details and when they ask you if you have insurance, say yes. For the validity of the insurance, calculate 2 weeks from your visit date and write it there(this is because the visa application center will sell a 2 week compulsory insurance to you). Upload all the scanned documents there including your scanned passport photograph. After you submit your pre application, select an appointment date. When the day comes, go with all the documents I earlier listed and make sure you have enough photocopies. Go with exact amount of dollar and make sure the dollar has no tear or stamp and is not older than 10 years. If you will request for courier to return your passport, also go with naira. They don’t do POS transactions and they don’t give change (weird, I know. All na thief).

If you will be granted the visa, the embassy will send a mail after 2 business days to tell you to pay for your ticket. Once you pay, you will get your visa. Note that the visa submission center is called mzvisa and it’s not in the embassy itself so google the address(I have forgotten it). Goodluck

Apply for a new one and let the school send it directly.

Being on waiting list means there were more qualified candidates for the slots. Usually the number of available waivers are limited and are given to the best candidates. Your chance of a waiver is extremely low.

Ooops.....it is well. I'll send over the documents before the deadline and keep hoping. I believe my desire will be granted.
Thanks for heads-up

Life in Estonia
Estonia being among the coldest countries in the world, social life is not much. But there plenty of clubs(strippers) as well in Tallinn and night parties. A lot of tourist attraction especially in Old Town part of Tallinn. Transport is generally free in Tallinn Estonia with free wifi connected in public places like bus stops, malls, parks etc. Internet is also connected to the houses in Tallinn(free). In fact, internet is like a human right here. Everything u do here is on the internet.
The cost of living here is extremely low compared with other EU countries.
Languages spoken in Estonia - Eesti, English and Russia in that order.

Education in Estonia
There are two main public university in Estonia, Tartu University and Tallinn University of Technology. Tartu university is a conventional university and among top 350 schools in the world. Its located in a city called Tartu. Tallinn University of Technology as the name implies is a Technology based university. Because the country is an IT based country, they tend to support courses in Engineering and IT based with scholarship and tuition free programs. This simply mean that if u apply and lucky to get a course in fields related to IT and Engineering in general, then u are automatically on scholarship. No school fees payment till u graduate. Infact the govt will pay u some amount of money monthly for ur upkeep. For any PHD course, u re sure of getting at least 400 euro for monthly upkeep.(i know ur eye balls must be rolling now).
Courses for International students are offered in English
Admission process starts first week of December and new session resumes August.

I don't dream of schooling,I just wish to work, earn some money and live a quiet life
.do they give working visa permit??
And what would be the total to actually travel there??

No. You will need a MasterCard or Visa debit card from First bank or any other bank in Nigeria. It's the normal ATM card. But it's not verve.
I hope this helps .

Funny question, are you the one to pay his tuition? Agriculture makes sense. Agriculture as a branch of the world economy plays a significant role in human life. Its main goal is to meet the population's needs for food and provide the industry with raw materials. Everybody cannot be into tech and programming oo. so allow the guy to do what he wants.

Yeah, you are free to ask man. No p.

Estonia dey chop food to, after doing tech you go still chop food. So that is where agriculture comes in and he can still come back to naija and start a farm practice.

I know people working in furniture making company in esti. They earn well too.

Please feel free to study what you want, been into tech or a programmer is not for everyone. Cheers.
