there is a probability that you can get admitted without connections but the probability is very low.
One of my friends had 310 in Jamb last year but wasn't given admission.
in 2015 I had 270 in my Jamb and scored 99% in my post jamb but I wasn't given admission that year. very funny school.
To those doubting my 99% I will upload the result when I find it.
I later had to do IJMBE in 2016, that got me into Unilorin. By the grace of God, am currently in 500level medicine.
can't wait to finish and venture into business.
Medicine is making me too lazy for my liking. Such a very simple and overrated course..

There is high competition in that state,this depends on slots available and how many candidates who scored higher than that and also applied for the same course in the same university.

If u sit around hoping to get MBBS cos u get 400 or whatsoever in jamb. I can bet my balls on it u Will only land in agriculture or better still education. and someone with 180 will get MBBS . from experience though Good luck

If I could go back to my young self, I would tell him to skip uni, and spend those fees on buying okada for hire purchase. 5 years doing that when I was young would have set me up for life.

My brother, medicine&surgery plus business don't usually go hand in hand o. Not that it's impossible but it's very difficult to balance both.

EKSUTH though, dunno why my mind no really settle for that school. It's still in its early years and they had accreditation issues recently. Would have advised that you go for the South Eastern state Universities

You did well, nevertheless, you still need to put in the work for the Post UTME.
And another thing I'd like to ask is : can you afford the tuition? State universities bill medical students like they are paying for their entire career. 300-400k p/session excluding other expenses

Listen let me advice you like an elder bro, even though I don't like medical doctors except my wife and 1 of my wonderful cousin, I must tell you the truth that medicine and surgery in particular is not a course you can combine with your other businesses in Lagos oh, you better go for Botony or Zoology or Forestry or if you still love medicine you can go for veterinary medicine
