It is very sad to know that we could have prevented this from ever spreading in Nigeria. We had at least a month to prepare yet we did nothing. I am worried Africa will come to define this epidemic. If nothing is done urgently while other countries are losing thousands we could end up losing millions.

Let's all be real here... Mr. Kyari met with all APC governors 2 days after arrival from overseas... If that charlatan above is infected, then so should be at least most of the others.

The entire East would have been celebrating the safety of their governors, but Imo state just had to be a "Black Sheep"!!! grin

People will definitely celebrate, because when these elites had the chance to build standard infrastructures like hospitals, among other and equipped with good facilities, instead, they preferred to travel out to the UK., US. for ordinary razor cut. They never believed this kind of disaster can come whereby the places they normally travel to for medical attention won't open doors for them. So, this is what happens when you try to make someone else's home your home by bastardizing yours.
This is to tell us, whenever we are opportune to be in the position of leadership do the necessaries, because "what goes around comes around"

I just hope that the ordinary citizens will be safe from this pandemic.

I hope also that the elite who have contracted it would come out alive.

The good thing about this virus is that it would at least make our leaders get first hand experience of what the masses go through while seeking medical services in our poorly equipped public hospitals.

Corona Virus will not kill any Nigeria without an underlining illness. Nigerians have been living with Malaria, Fever and Thyphoid for long. Corona Virus is like a very Severe Fever, Nigerians will survive it except maybe old people with exisitng underlining illnesses.

Buhari and some members of his family has contracted covid-19, but they don't want to make it public to avoid setting the nation into unnecessary panic.
